Tasca Mariquinhas em Lisboa

26/09/2024: Definitely a very popular restaurant and a lot of people there were either locals or by recommendation. The food was excellent, can definitely recommend the cod cakes and mango cheese cake in particular. I was seated outside right at the door, not the best location as those queuing are overlooking you eat and also smoking beside you while you eat. But it’s a narrow busy street so there is little that can be done. The service was ok but not as good as other restaurants that I have eaten in. That said I would definitely recommend and would suggest booking in advance if you want a seat inside.

20/09/2024: Between the four of us we had three different meals. The chicken, sea bass, and grouper. The sea bass and grouper were the clear winners. Tasty, well prepared, and appropriately sized potatoes and cabbage. Service was courteous.
