Traditional tapas restaurant, ask to be seated outside which is in a lovely square. We hadn’t realised so we’re seated inside but they were very accommodating and moved us outside to eat. Food was delicious, the sliced steak was amazing as was the cod and prawns. Very close to Pink Street so it was a great spot to people watch.

Un super resto au coeur de Lisbonne avec une cuisine créative et délicieuse. Resto découvert au hasard de nos balades dans le centre. Un « must go » pour changer de la cuisine traditionnelle portugaise! Croquettes à la viande fumée. Parmentier de saucisses portugaises sur lit de patates douces, champignons portobello farcis… tout était divins!

Restaurante Cave Real

17/09/2024: Really authentic Portuguese restaurant. Go away from the center and find this gem. The service is very good , equal with the food. You are going to feel really good here and not have the feeling of a tourist trap.
12/05/2024: Convenient to our hotel (Sheraton) within walking distance. Warm and engaging staff who hustled all night and were always smiling. Ordered the dourado (sea bream) and it was large, fresh, incredibly flavorful, seasoned perfectly, charcoal grilled and attractively presented. Came with fries and a large mixed salad. The starter-shrimp gambas- were just OK, lacked flavor and were too few for the price! Restaurant decor was simple but attractive.
