Sr. Vinho em Lisboa

Siamo stati a cena al senhor vinho per vedere uno spettacolo di fado. La performance molto bella con tre cantanti che si sono alternati con due bravi musicisti. Servizio buono, ma la cena deludente. Nel bacalhao (da mangiare con poca luce per preservare l'atmosfera del locale) avrò trovato 10 spine più o meno grandi, ed anche il sapore (fritto in un lago di olio nel piatto) alla lunga piuttosto stucchevole. Abbiamo preso anche il polipo ed il livello era abbastanza basso anche lì. Peccato perché il locale merita e l'esperienza sembra autentica

Comida boa, serviço bom, de saliantar que vamos para uma noite de fados e a noite termina às 23.30h sem qualquer explicação, a hora anunciada é 1.00h.

Restaurante muito agradável, a comida e o serviço não são nada de especial, vale essencialmente pelo ambiente e o espetáculo, que de facto é maravilhoso para quem gosta de Fado.

Jantar fantástico! Os músicos, todos, muito bons. Vozes lindas e extraordinários guitarristas. Recomendo vivamente.

Couldn't be happier! Great interior and atmosphere, extremely polite and attentive staff, the musicians and singers were amazing and the food was so tasty! We were a bit worried before we went as we read some of the one-star reviews but decided to risk it anyway! I don't know how accurate were those poor reviews or did the staff up their games after them but we felt very welcomed - the waiters were hospitable, made jokes and tended to our needs promptly. My partner and I had the prawns as a starter and they were delicious - covered in butter, garlic and a little bit of spice! The main courses for us were the baby lamp - very soft and well seasoned and a steak (granted the steak comes with the ready-made french fries, but honestly that is the only thing I would change, if there was a change to be made - I suggest you go with a simple boiled potato with butter and herbs). The desserts were amazing! We paid 67 euros per person and another 30 for a bottle of wine and it was worth every penny. I would visit them again! Thank you for the experience!

I had one of the best experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. Not because it has the best food. But the food is great, I had the best wine (I think it's called vinhas velhas) and the fado was beautiful. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere there is incredible. A very cosy and warm place, which makes the experience incredible. Not cheap but definitely worth it.

Nice place for fado and decent 3-course portuguese meal. The staff are all generally fine, but the servers may not all be attentive to detail (like dietary restrictions - so you may have to ask multiple times to be sure). Very cozy and pretty atmosphere. The fadistas are all great artists - congrats to the management for finding and supporting such good local talent.

A cozinha é top. O bife do Sr vinho é algo obrigatório é divinal. Relação preço qualidade é prefeito. Duas pessoas gastei 180 euros. Ambiente muito bom. A apresentação de fadistas ao nível das melhores casas de fados de Lisboa.

I was visiting Lisbon just after Christmas and decided to go to a traditional Fado Restaurante. I had a recommendation from a Belgian friend, which visited before. And I must say what an amazing suggestion, the service from Sr. Joao and Sergio in the dinning room was second to none the attention to detail was exceptional. I tried the grilled octopus, was so tender nearly melted in my mouth. I finished my meal with an conventual egg dessert made by Maria, just perfect like the cherry on the top of the cake. And the highlight was the live fado in between courses, the acoustics of Sr Vinho gave such an extra emotional feel to Fado. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon.
