Definitely a very popular restaurant and a lot of people there were either locals or by recommendation. The food was excellent, can definitely recommend the cod cakes and mango cheese cake in particular. I was seated outside right at the door, not the best location as those queuing are overlooking you eat and also smoking beside you while you eat. But it’s a narrow busy street so there is little that can be done. The service was ok but not as good as other restaurants that I have eaten in. That said I would definitely recommend and would suggest booking in advance if you want a seat inside.

Between the four of us we had three different meals. The chicken, sea bass, and grouper. The sea bass and grouper were the clear winners. Tasty, well prepared, and appropriately sized potatoes and cabbage. Service was courteous.

26/10/2024: The octopus croquettes were great, the turbot very tasty and just the right portions and the dessert tart was spectacular. Staff really nice and attentive. A lovely way to finish my trip to Lisbon
12/10/2024: We had a tour that got thru about 2 in the afternoon. We had passed by this place earlier and decided to come back here for a sit down lunch. It was very comfortable on this slightly muggy day. We had a window booth with nice seating. The bathrooms are downstairs (like a lot of street level restaurants). I had the octopus croquettes and my wife had the tiger prawn risotto. Both were very tasty and well presented. We each also had a side salad that was loaded with greens and tomatoes etc. It is one of the more pricey places but it is worth it !!

30/03/2024: Super boa experiência, estive com um grupo de amigos. Existem opções sem glúten. Peguei ‘arroz preto do mar’ e foi um dos melhores da minha vida. A equipe é muito simpática e acabou sendo realmente barata!
27/03/2024: Bom ambiente e simpatia. Restaurante familiar com boa comida, boa bebida e boas sobremesas. Recomendo.
