Definitely a very popular restaurant and a lot of people there were either locals or by recommendation. The food was excellent, can definitely recommend the cod cakes and mango cheese cake in particular. I was seated outside right at the door, not the best location as those queuing are overlooking you eat and also smoking beside you while you eat. But it’s a narrow busy street so there is little that can be done. The service was ok but not as good as other restaurants that I have eaten in. That said I would definitely recommend and would suggest booking in advance if you want a seat inside.

Between the four of us we had three different meals. The chicken, sea bass, and grouper. The sea bass and grouper were the clear winners. Tasty, well prepared, and appropriately sized potatoes and cabbage. Service was courteous.

21/10/2024: The concierge at our hotel recommended this place. We never would have found it on our own. It was in a lovely old building from 1812. We loved the salmon tatami. The bacalao with chick pea puree was outstanding and the octopus with sweet potatoes was just as impressive. Service was efficient.
14/10/2024: Funky decor with a lively crowd, serving excellent Spanish cuisine. Good wine list, attentive wait staff. They actually lost my reservation which had been called in by my hotel but they quickly sat us anyway even though it was crowded. Kudos to owning up to their mistake.
