Restaurante O Manjerico em Calheta

07/01/2025: So … from the exterior it looks like it might have been closed for couple of years, therefore the Interior was unexpected, bizarre, certainly committed to the theme. ‘Go big or go home’ reasoning here … but the staff were v. friendly helpful and good simple food. Weather had turned bad and visibility very poor. Kindly one of the staff drove my partner to our hire car a couple of Km down the road . Very welcome stop ! Also, few restaurants have a robot deliver your plates … would I go back, Yes ! 🙌

28/12/2024: We stopped here on our jeep tour for lunch. Funniest restaurant I have ever been in, the food was good and great value. The restaurant was decorated in a jungle theme with animated animals who made noises, a lion, apes and a panther. We loved the robot cat waiter. Fantastic and enjoyable.
