What a fabulous lunch stop we had at this restaurant. The reviews are right, 5* all the way. Fantastic food, great menu and delicious wines. Highly recommended.

most outstanding Portuguese restaurant in Algrave. It delivered the most tasty, fresh, mouth watering seafood dishes. we enjoyed every single bit of the food prepared by the Chef of this family owned restaurant. the cod fish was firm yet tender. the razor clams melt in our mouths. the steak was juicy and moist. the octopus was prefectly prepared. we had the most memorable dinner at this popular and world class restaurant. hope to dine there in future. must book ahead of time to avoid disappointment. highly recommend.

09/10/2024: Called in at this restaurant after a visit to Mt Foia. Friendly and welcoming. Sat on the terrace and had chicken piri piri, chips and salad with a 500ml beer and half a bottle of vino verde., preceded by olives and Portuguese carrots with bread. Lovely food and a great waitress/ owner from SA; very bubbly and efficient. Arrived at one and only another couple there, but by 2:15 it was full including a party of 10 with 2 young children. But they coped and very one seemed happy. Our typical type of Portugal lunch, informal but chilled too despite the crowd, including the €30 bill.
06/09/2024: Heerlijk eten, geen culinaire hoogstandjes, dame verteld helder welke gerechten te kiezen zijn, een beetje witte patat maar alles smaakte prima, ook heerlijk dessert vraag naar de taarten!

28/08/2024: Lugar simpático com boa comida e preço justo. Comida bem confeccionada e empregados simpáticos. Menos positivo não ter multibanco nem mbway.
05/07/2024: Cheira a serra! Espaço muito acolhedor. Atendimento muito atencioso - estamos em casa. Comida serrana onde o porco e o borrego são reis. Couves (cozido à algarvia) Secretos com migas Bochechas (divinais) Pernil (o melhor do mundo) … Tudo muito bom, tudo feito com carinho!
