Comemos muito bem e o serviço também foi excelente. Os pratos de carne estavam deliciosos e o preço era bem razoável. Recomendo (eles nunca fecham para um descanso).
Restaurante moderno bem decorado com motivos regionais num ambiente agradável e acolhedor.

Il ristorante ha una struttura che rappresenta la tipica abitazione del nord dell’ Isola. Carne cotta in forno a legna e’ la specialità. Vengono serviti grandi spiedi a tavola, dove ci si serve direttamente. Molto coreografico. Buona la carne e i contorni. Posto frequentato da turisti e locali. Consigliato!
Absolutely outstanding food, drinks, service and entertainment at this fabulous restaurant this evening.
I visited O Lagar for a meal with friends and it was, by far, the best meal experience that I have had for a long time.
The food was exceptional and well priced..
We had the Espetada, Espada, Bolo do caco, Milo Fritos and salad and everything was beautifully prepared, seasoned presented and served.
01/05/2025: Friends of ours who live on the island took us here - their favorite steak place. It was good. The view is lovely and the atmosphere is friendly and has some charm. We ordered two espatas (meat skewers) - one was to be medium and the other medium rare but they were both on the rare side for us. The meat was good but for me undercooked. We also had a bowl of fries, salad and some fried corn. It was all fine. We did not try steak skewers elsewhere on the island so difficult to say if these were the best.
01/04/2025: carte courte et présence nombreuse de locaux sont en général signe de qualité et cela s'est révélé exact. Ce restaurant propose une cuisine locale a base de grillades dans un cadre soigné et vue imprenable sur la mer. Les produits sont frais , les frites maison excellentes et le service attentionné. La réduction de the fork nous a été appliquée sans le demander et du coup les tarifs sont tout a fait raisonnables . Vous pouvez y aller en confiance , vous ne vous retrouverez pas dans un des nombreux attrape touristes de l'île
