Restaurante O Forno em Calheta

We went to this place in Nov 2024 — this restaurant was probably one of the best restaurants that we have been to in Portugal - it was amazing! We ordered the Bolo Do Caco (their traditional toasted bread), Stuffed Jacket Potato, the Chicken Espatadas, White Rice, French Fries, Poncha and Beer. All the food was fresh and fantastic. The drinks were very good — In desserts, we ordered the Chocolate Lava Cake with Vanilla ice cream and it was really good. The service was superb! Our server Ms. Jenisa was great. The location of the place was very good and the ambience was very good.

Fantastic choice of food: meat, fish, veggie, all expertly grilled. Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed our lunch. Definitely recommended.
