30/05/2025: My favorite fado place in Lisboa. Fantastic food, wonderful and engaging musicians, friendly and attentive staff. It's a very small place, which means everyone is close to the music, but you need to make a reservation. The musicians told us about the history of fado, the types of fado, and the various songs all in English. The fado was in Portuguese, but you don't need to speak Portuguese to enjoy it. One of the guitarists came and sat with us during a break and we had a lovely conversation. He's a former medical doctor. Really interesting guy. Just an overall memorable evening with great food, great music, and an experience you can only get in Lisboa.
