13/06/2024: We have visited this restaurant a number of times since we purchased a little house in nearby Sao Simao. This restaurant is one of the reasons why we are so happy with our choice. What a beautiful restaurant in a beautiful, ancient village. The food is fantastic, lovely starters, top class steak, fish, prawns and pork. The sobremesas are excellent. The wine is also excellent from the Gazella to the Alentejo Zito Red. The hosts Zito and Elizabeth are warm and welcoming and a great help when making choices. This is a hidden gem that we recommend highly.
