Lugar incrível, vista deslumbrante, ótimo serviço, mas comida muito mediana, a menos que tenhamos tido o azar de pedir os piores pratos.

Os frutos do mar aqui eram incríveis, a vista era de tirar o fôlego e o serviço impecável. Eles cuidaram da gente como nenhum outro lugar. Recomendo!

O excesso de funcionários também precisa ser pago, o que dá uma imagem distorcida de "chique". Preço/qualidade muito caro na minha opinião

Restaurante incrivelmente bom que oferece opções vegetarianas particularmente boas. Realmente um sabor ótimo e lindamente apresentado. Raramente comi tão bem. Como vegetariano: grande elogio! A vista enquanto comemos é muito bonita e o serviço também é ótimo, todos os funcionários são muito simpáticos.

Tem uma vista de cortar a respiração.... Vale a pena uma visita

Viemos a este local porque procurávamos uma refeição tradicional depois de um dia de caminhada. Embora a comida fosse absolutamente ótima e deliciosa, não tenho certeza se é completamente tradicional. Não estou dizendo que é ruim. Simplesmente não é o que esperávamos. No entanto, os ingredientes utilizados pareciam muito locais, e o único prato que parecia muito tradicional (e delicioso, devo dizer) era a espetada. O cheesecake de batata doce também foi algo muito bom e interessante de experimentar. Ainda é um lugar que eu recomendaria para uma ótima experiência. O atendimento também foi muito bom! Todos os funcionários foram muito simpáticos e prestativos.

Le restaurant de l'hôtel du même nom bénéficie d'une vue 5 étoiles depuis le haut de la falaise. Les tables de la terrasse couverte sont recommandées. Service professionel. Belle carte de viandes et poissons. Nous avons commencé par une brique de truite fumée, originale puis nous avons essayé le thon grillé, très bien cuit et la pluma de porc, un peu grasse, qui aurait mérité d'être un peu plus grillée. Un bon choix pour un dîner avec vue sur mer. 10% de service suggéré d'office sur la facture...

Came here for my birthday lunch with my husband. We made reservations for 12 when they opened, and we were the first and only table for about 1 hour (early February). So it was nice to have the place to ourselves! We sat outside, BEAUTIFUL view! There is ample parking and the restaurant had plenty of seating, but I imagine this place gets quite full - so make a reservation in advance. Amazing service! Food was good and beautifully presented, but I didn't think it was amazing. I stared with the tomato/onion soup which was flavorful and had a LOT of onions in it. My husband got the pumpkin soup, which we both thought needed more flavor. I eat mostly plant-based, so I got the vegetarian skewer (which I expected to be vegetables, but it was actually a vegan meat substitute - I probably could have asked what it was but I didn't think to based on the menu listing). My husband got the Portuguese style chicken with potatoes and vegetables. He said the chicken was very good but under-seasoned and thought the gravy was as well. We finished with a 15 year Madeira wine which was amazing! We have pretty small appetites so we skipped a started and dessert. I think what they say is true that the better the view, the food doesn't have to be as impressive, and that was my experience here. It was still well worth it and the grounds were just beautiful. I probably wouldn't come back to it, but think it is worth visiting at least once if you are in Madeira. Plenty of parking and there are some other dining options in this area - pizza and something else we saw. Would give those a try. You can also just walk to the view point here if you want to park and see but skip the restaurant.
