Quatro Estacoes em Lisboa

We had walked out from a rather higher rated restaurant as they seemed to be trying to 😀con us about the price of fish and to get us to feel less comfortable! We ended here on spec and were rewarded with straightforward good tapas starters (sardines with tomato, garlic prawns as only the Portuguese can do) and excellent mains - bream , veal and octopus. All very good! But what made the evening special was the staff shout turned out were Nepalese and could not do too much to make our evening special! From fitting us in to start with to carrying another table to add to ours (which was really only for two!). We have great respect for the Gurkhas as they have garrisoned in Kent for many years and it was lovely to find some of them doing such a great job in Lisbon. Definitely a place to stop and relax!
