O Corrido - Casa de Fado em Lisboa

I have been to fado shows before both in Lisbon (Casa de Linhares in 2016) and back home and this was the best experience. While the location is simple, the value for what you receive is incredible. The food was very good and there were 4 stages of fado, well mixed with the serving of the dishes. There were 4 singers of different generations (20+, 40+, 60+ and the wonderful Maria Amelia Proenca, who is 86 and sang with Amelia Rodrigues when she was young). I had the honor of getting a CD with autograph from Mrs Maria Amelia, it is incredible what an elegant presence and the passion she still brings to the stage at her age. Filipe (who plays the Portuguese guitar) and Claudia Duarte (who is one if the singers) are the owners and they have a carefully thought booking system, manually confirming each reservation and making sure that all guests are aware of the menu and payment details. The attention to details is great, Filipe comes to every table between the fado sessions and interacts with all guests discussing the history, the way of playing fado and answering any questions. This creates a more familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Well recommended for all who love fado music or want to have a taste of Lisbon's local flavors (both musical and gastronomical).

Belle découverte du fado dans un cadre chaleureux tout en dégustant un repas de qualité. Nous avons passé un excellent moment avec 3 chanteuses accompagnées de 2 musiciens. Le repas est très bien et l’organisation bien rodée. Bravo !

Passámos momentos maravilhosos, 4 fadistas diferentes, um dos guitarristas veio conversar connosco, o ambiente era familiar, gostámos do 🐙 e do vinho verde! Foi muito legal, você pode ir lá de olhos fechados

Esta foi A melhor noite que tivemos em Lisboa! Memorável. Músicos incrivelmente talentosos e músicas comoventes. Local fantástico com boa comida - amêijoas, pato e pêra bêbada. Proprietários tão gentis. Faça uma reserva - me agradeça mais tarde.

Boa experiência para experimentar o Fado enquanto saboreia uma comida deliciosa. Os funcionários são simpáticos. Estávamos no topo, a vista era boa e o som era bom. Um pouco quente no andar de cima e sem ar condicionado. Tinham fãs, mas depois não se ouve bem o Fado.

Se estiver em Lisboa, este local de fado deve ser o número 1 da sua lista de visitas obrigatórias. Que ótima noite! Obrigado a todos os cantores, cantoras e músicos pela nossa primeira e certamente não última noite de Fado.

Uma das experiências mais bonitas que tive em Portugal. Os proprietários são adoráveis, com uma riqueza de conhecimentos, histórias e amor para compartilhar. As apresentações de Fado levaram-me às lágrimas. A comida é outro destaque deste lugar mágico. Uma visita obrigatória se estiver em Lisboa.
