I’m not vegetarian/vegan, but my wife prefers to follow a mostly-veg diet. This is the best restaurant we found in Coimbra for this type of food.
We had the mushroom quesadilla to share as a starter, which was excellent. The vegan chilli I had for a main course was ok, but my only complaint would be that I expected a bean chilli, not quorn-based. My wife’s burrito, however, was very good indeed.
If you are not registered with a Portuguese bank they will not take your card - only cash. Frustrating, as the nearest ATM (in the University) is broken. This resulted in a 20 min walk looking for the next option, whilst my wife waited alone in the restaurant.
Also, like the nearby university, there is a lot of pro-Palestinian messaging in and around the restaurant; perhaps not too friendly if you’re Jewish.
