Meia Gaiola em Cascais

27/07/2024: This is more than coffee and pastries. A great place with healthy options like bowls and smoothies. Eggs and avocado toast. Wonderful wraps and sandwiches. Or pizza and burgers if that is more your vibe. What a location. Directly across from the train station. We arrived from Lisbon and had skipped breakfast so we were quite hungry. I had no interest in the breads and coffee in the train station and I am so glad we stepped outside. This really is a gem. Such a great way to start the day in Cascais! This is amazing! I can’t give enough kudos! Don’t skip it.

19/06/2024: We had an excellent dinner of pizza and Greek salad. The menu is quite extensive and we will return to try other dishes. Prices are reasonable and staff were all friendly and helpful. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the ambiance. It was not crowded like so many other restaurants in Cascais and that made it quite nice. Note - bring cash as I’m not sure credit cards are accepted.
