Masala House em Portimão

We have dined here a few times, once on a trip in the fall of 2023 and now twice in December 2024 including New Years Eve. Our favourite dish is butter chicken with basmati rice with samosa starters and green tea. We have also tried the curried lamb dish which is also excellent. The atmosphere and surroundings are perfect for a leisure look at the world passing by. We found the staff to be attentive, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We were in the area for just 5 days and nights, but we spent 2 of them at this restaurant as it was really good! Coming from Birmingham we know a good Indian/Asian restaurant when we see one - and this is definitely one. Extensive menu, very welcoming, great food and not badly priced, we even recommend to others at our hotel and they enjoyed more than one evening there as well. We would most certainly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning when we are next in the area.
