You will have a marvelous day: first pick up a basket with plates, glasses,etc, a bottle of wine, water and limonade and off course the basket with food at Maria’s place ( vegetarian or with meat) and then drive to Fumarolas Lagoa das Furnas. A men put it in the warm ground, you go for a walk in the forest and after 3 hours: food is ready and have your picnic!

This was an amazing experience. Every detail of the food and presentation was done with such care. We felt like royalty when after our e-bike ride this gorgeous picnic in a gorgeous spot was waiting for us. Maria and Pascale were incredible host. If you get a chance to experience this DO IT!!!

29/09/2024: We arrived just as the restaurant opened at 19:00 and managed to secure a lovely table outside for our group. The menu is small but delicious. We enjoyed some cheese and meat sharing platters followed by my main of the shrimp spaghetti. Service was warm and friendly, and they even brought out a brownie with a candle to celebrate my birthday! I would definitely recommend.
26/08/2024: Dalle recensioni abbiamo deciso addirittura di aspettare 45 minuti prima di essere accolti. Le tapas hanno prezzi di piatti completi, sinceramente non li abbiamo trovati neanche così indimenticabili; indimenticabile sarà invece quel sapore d’aglio in bocca che la cena ci ha lasciati, pur avendo ordinato un piatto di carne ed uno di pesce. Carne chiesta al sangue arrivata stracotta, secca. Locale carino, vino della casa non entusiasmante, forse buoni i cocktails, ma non lo consiglierei. Servizio molto lento.

07/10/2024: This restaurant is amazing! We ate at several incredible restaurants during our trip to Ponta Delgada but this was the restaurant we chose to revisit and dine at a second time towards the end of our trip because the food was so amazing. In our two visits we tried the grilled limpets, mixed grilled meats, tuna steak, pork steak and grilled baby squid, all of which were unbelievably delicious. The food was served with bread and local cheese, the best cheese we had on our trip. The prices were very affordable for the incredible quality and the staff were friendly and attentive.
27/09/2024: Fomos almoçar por recomendação do hotel. Excelente opção. O proprietário sugeriu o prato do dia, Polvo estufado que estava uma delícia, tenro e muito bem confeccionado. Sobremesa bolo de ananás.
