We stopped by here for lunch before heading to the museum. We were the first to arrive to the restaurant when it opened at noon. The servers were very nice and attentive. The food was good - I had the shrimp appetizer as recommended by someone on TripAdviser. I dipped my bread in the stew it came in and that was good as well. My mom had the sea bream and she enjoyed it. We had Maria’s pudding as dessert and it was delicious. I enjoyed my meal with vinho verde. The server also gave me a free glass of port.

Impecável. Atendimento simpático, atencioso e eficiente. Comida muito saborosa. Tudo perfeito, desde a reserva até a sobremesa. Preço Justo.

19/09/2024: Had to return to this old favorite. Same old/elegant decor. Same good service from very professional waiter. Good wine but the one we ordered was not available; he did tell us he was substituting. Food not up to par. Should have had the seabass with husband; my grouper was tough and had seen better days. Sadly would not return.
08/08/2024: If possible make a reservation. This place gets busy. Excellent service, attentive and they have good recommendations. We had two dishes, dessert, drinks, wine, and a tip for less than 150 euros. The bifes and Filet are really good. Very recommendable

29/08/2024: A poucos passos do grande miradouro sobre a cidade, este local é muito mais tranquilo, mas igualmente idílico. O local perfeito para tomar algumas bebidas à sombra numa tarde ensolarada.
