Great food! Very reasonably priced and really delicious. The service was excellent. Our waiter was lovely. We couldn’t speak Portuguese but it didn’t matter, he translated the menu for us and recommended a main course to me that was simply delicious. We’ll be back.

Peixe Azul

A decoração é bonita e o espaço agradável.

01/09/2024: We found this place from TA reviews, and were a bit skeptical when we walked in and it is a bit further away form the typical touristy section in Bairro Alto or Chiada, (had to take 10-min Uber there) but it is a HIDDEN GEM, in fact it was so amazing that we booked it again for our our last night in Lisbon. What I love most about it it that it was authentic and like a local little neighborhood restaurant , and not your typical touristy place. Most of all the food was absolutely delicious, it was one of our best meals, not only in Portugal but in my life!! We had a bunch of tapas; the tuna tartar, the sautéed squid, the scallops, the clams , the shrimps and all were just outstanding. The only dish I wouldn’t have again was the steak/beef tapas which was good, but more ordinary. Then we had a delicious custard and cheese dessert, and complimentary shots with the waiter. The vibe of this restaurant was superb, it was small and cozy, and the owner and waiter was super warm and friendly. Highly recommend this place, don’t miss it and don’t let the distance from more touristy areas dissuade you.
