Les plats sont succulents (jambon ibérique, brochette poulpe et gambas, gambas tiger grillée.
Service très agréable et décor intérieur plaisant.
Enchantés par notre dîner.
25/08/2024: Visited Adega Regional last night (24/8), the place was packed, we didn't have a reservation but managed to get a table via a no show, very lucky.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, full of character, I believe the place was an old wine cellar dating back hundreds of years.
The waiter we ordered from spoke English, which was an absolute bonus for us with extremely limited Portuguese.
We ordered wine first, a litre of house red, superb quality, no need to order anything from the extensive wine list.
The usual couvert was placed on the table, sardine pate, cheese etc, along with toasted and fresh bread, all great quality.
The main meal we chose for starters Presunto to share, super quality, the real deal.
We also had 2 bowls of the Portuguese equivalent of Gazpacho, again fantastic and not your average Gazpacho, a meal in itself.
When ordering the main course, we were going to order two mains but the waiter thankfully insisted we order one between us, sound advice, the portions are huge.
We then ordered and shared the slow cooked Beef Cheeks with Migas and fried potatoes between us.
The Migas was extremely good and the beef Cheeks were fabulous, so tender and delicious.
Adega Regional was so good we're trying it again tonight.
