19/08/2024: We had a fabulous meal here celebrating my husbands birthday. We were on the 1st floor and it was full. The seating isn't the most comfortable (low, small tables) and its tightly packed so the restaurant decor (vary dark and old fashioned) and layout won't be to everyone's taste but we were happy and had a great evening. Staff were old-fashioned polite, so quite transactional, but we found that part of the charm and the service was impeccable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals - I had the Sao Bento steak and we all shared a couple of desserts. One of our group did have a steak sandwich at the TimeOut market and wasn't impressed at all with the quality, it was really disappointing compared to the quality of the beef we had at the restaurant.
