Indian Ocean em Albufeira

We hebben hier nu 2 x gegeten en het is absoluut top! Meestal ben ik een beetje gereserveerd met Indische restaurants, maar deze verraste ons echt positief, waarom, bediening en eten waren top!

Having seen The Indian Ocean highly rated online, we were eager to give it a try, expecting an exceptional dining experience. Unfortunately, the food turned out to be extremely average, leaving us rather disappointed. The restaurant itself is comfortable and well-presented, with attentive service, but the food simply didn't live up to the glowing reviews. Our currys were nothing but average, with mine being extremely oily and lacking in flavour. The meat was tender, but it felt lost in a rather plain sauce that lacked any real punch. My dining companions also tried a variety of dishes, and the feedback was similar across the board. Everything was fine but, sadly, forgettable. he rice was decent – fluffy and well-cooked, though quite basic, and the naan was fine but nothing special. It felt as though the kitchen was playing it safe, not taking any risks with flavours or seasoning, which left the meal feeling somewhat lacklustre. We had chosen The Indian Ocean due to its high rating, but sadly, it didn't meet the expectations set by the reviews. While the service was friendly and the atmosphere pleasant, the food didn't leave us excited to return. If you’re after a simple, no-frills Indian meal, this might do the trick, but if you’re looking for something more flavourful and memorable, there are likely better options in Albufeira.
