Frango Malandro em Cantanhede

26/05/2024: Genuine rural Centro Cuisine. A humble setting in a small village, where all the locals from a wide radius go to eat, drink, celebrate, and be happy. The setting may be humble, the menu short and written on a piece of paper on cardboard, but it all adds to the authentic rural atmosphere of this gem of a restaurant. The bread was crispy, and still warm fresh from the oven. The bacalhau the best we have eaten. The Vinha Casa at €4 a bottle a real bargain, and the desserts, like the main courses, extremely generous. Be prepared to take leftovers home, for a full meal.
