Average restaurant, 45€/person for a 3 courses dinner (without drinks). You can eat better food in the old town, so for culinary reasons don't go to this restaurant. The extra here is the live Fado, so if you want to enjoy a short concert during dinner, then it can be a good choice.

We had a very enjoyable night with a delicious meal and fado music. We had a delicious tray of various cheeses and olives served with a crusty fresh bread. Then we had the octopus main course which was incredible and tender. I would go back just for the octopus. The meal ended with a flan, nicely decorated. The fado singer and accompaniment were talented and sang just the right amount of songs.

25/03/2024: Adorámos, hambúrgueres recheados com ingredientes bons e caseiros, o ambiente é muito bom, um pouco frio mas perfeito mesmo assim, tudo isto a um preço muito bom.
16/03/2024: Aproveite para sentar no terraço sob o sol da primavera. Só tomamos uma bebida. Pessoas amigáveis.

16/10/2024: Agradable sorpresa. Paramos a comer por casualidad. Y acertamos en la comanda: lapas, camarones (langostinos en España) y pulpo. Todo muy rico y abundante
30/09/2024: Sort of an unassuming spot... but got a recommendation so my wife and I went for dinner. We had a 'fried' shrimp dish (that the waitress said was a family recipe and family favorite) -- so we chose that. It was not fried in the true sense of the American fried shrimp, but sauteed in a saffron, and lemon oil that was delicious. We had and appetizer, wine and dessert for less than 50 euros. Gazcidla was a very pleasant surprise.. and the sunset thru the windows at our table was a great bonus. We were very pleased with this Azorean faire and glad we went. Staff spoke 'some' English and were helpful and pleasant. A good find in Mosteiros.
