We had the Espetada - tender meat on bay sticks. I had the steak and my wife had the chicken. Both were excellent. The salad and fries side orders were also great and healthy portions with a selection of small, medium and large depending on your appetite. The prices were very reasonable. Our tour guide mentioned that this was the traditional way to cook the meat, on wooden bay sticks. It's not possible to find this in Funchal.

Un très bel établissement, la vue est sublime. Les repas sont bons et les prix abordables. N’hésitez pas à y faire un crochet

28/11/2024: Fantastic fish! In this restaurant/bar we could choise the fresh fish ourselves. As a starter we had shrimps with a very tasty sauce. And lots of grilled bread with garlic and herbs. Our main fish was grilled dourada (seabream), tuna with herbs, fries and salad. Very tasteful in the typical Portugese way. The owner is very nice and attentive. We’ll surely go there again and like to recommend this restaurant to everyone. You can eat outside if you like.
