Barra Cascabel em Lisboa

We walked to El Corte Ingles and planned to have lunch at a Mexican restaurant on the 7th floor. We went on a Saturday so it was very busy. We have dined here before and had no issues ordering as vegetarians. However, on this occasion it seemed the menu had changed with no vegetarian dishes apart from guacamole. We asked for some vegetarian tacos (i.e., don’t add the meat on top) but the staff refused to accommodate our request as the till was unable to process such an order. We ended up just eating the tortilla chips & guacamole and a cheese quesadilla. The guacamole & chips were tasty but the quesadilla was a bit bland. We were disappointed given our previous positive experience. I would avoid eating here if you are a vegetarian. On the other hand, if you are not, then I am sure you will have a great meal.
