Baiuka Bar em Cascais

09/10/2024: This is a very good restaurant. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. We shared the seafood rice, which was a very big dish with lots of mussels, prawns and clams. It was served with a large prawn in its shell that had been split for us; it was a large prawn, almost the size of a small lobster.The restaurant is in a good location, on a quiet street just a few hundred metres outside the main part of the town.

06/09/2024: The food here is just above average and way overpriced. We ordered garlic prawns and a cheese and charcuterie board to start. The prawns priced at 15 euros were very small and served in a gloopy sauce. The cheese and charcuterie board priced at 10 euros consisted on 4 slices of cheese (one type) and fried chorizo. The mains of salmon and sea bass were ok but we have had better. Our servers were friendly and attentive and we feel bad for them giving the restaurant a bad review. We did mention the overpricing and were given a complimentary port but overall we would not recommend as there are better value restaurants nearby.
