Called in for a take away pizza as just round the corner from our hotel. Definitely recommend all freshly made bases and toppings. All cooked and ready with no long waiting, even though the restaurant side was busy. Only sorry I didn’t take pics as it was so good we tucked in. Great friendly customer service too.

Take a step back from the steak places surrounding the harbour and try this restaurant. The steak was amazing, staff were very friendly and attentive with no rush to get us away from the table. Really reasonable price for a family of 7. We have eaten steak a couple of times previously around the harbour but felt we were rushed, very expensive and the steaks were not the same quality. Definitely worth a visit to Assado!

25/10/2024: This place is amazing! A lovely family run restaurant with a vast menu. We stayed in Quarteira for a week and ate here 3 times. Twice I had steak and both times it was amazing. The piri piri chicken was also very good. Husband had chilli one night which was huge and very tasty, garlic prawns another night which he said was amazing and lambs chops on the last night. All our food was delicious and served by the friendly family, who even remembered our drinks order from previous visits. The restaurant is tucked away down a quiet back street so not the easiest to find but very well worth the effort.
05/10/2024: We went into Fernando's on the first night of our trip after a recommendation and it did delight.....I had the Portuguese steak and my husband had the piri piri chicken......my steak was amazing, although the chicken looked delicious. On our last day we were looking for somewhere for linner (lunch/dinner) before we got our taxi to the airport..... hubbie suggested going back....I got the piri piri chicken and he had BBQ chicken.....both utterly delicious. The service was friendly and superb. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Quarteria.

12/08/2024: After finding here last summer in 2023, had to make a return trip this summer and again the restaurant lived up to its name!! Fabulous food, superb and friendly staff. Their steaks are super and well worth trying so this is a must in Quarteria to visit!!
27/07/2024: This was our 3rd time here over a few years and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We just had bread and olives to start. I had the fillet steak with cream and mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had the minute steak and she loved that too. Large portions so was glad we didn’t get starters. We also had an Algarve salad which had a lovely dressing. Couldn’t manage a dessert but they looked lovely. Staff were very friendly and waiter even ran after us because my friend left her cardigan. Highly recommend this restaurant.
