17/09/2024: Went for dinner based on TripAdvisor reviews. There aren’t a ton of options for fine dining in Pinhao so my expectations weren’t very high. Raise your expectations for Conzinha De Clara! If you sit outside you have a great view of the river. The waiters/waitresses were very helpful with wine and food selection. I ordered the Iberian Pig. I was expecting a pork chop taste but this was wayyyyyy better. Tasted more like a steak dish. My wife ordered the chicken and that was also delicious. Go there while in Pinhao

03/04/2024: Pequeno e encantador restaurante com boa comida a preços razoáveis. Comemos polvo grelhado, espaguete de frutos do mar e risoto de limão com salmão. Peixes e frutos do mar foram preparados perfeitamente.

07/10/2024: Mixed feelings about this restaurant. We had a room in Casa do Lagar which is a considerable distance from the restaurant - the actual hotel itself is situated between the two. Maybe a pleasant walk on a summers evening but not in the dark. Although we were staying in the hotel we had actually booked the restaurant via The Fork on 14th August, we looked at options and realised just how far the hotel is from other venues. The day before our meal we had the reminder confirmation email from the restaurant. Then at 17.36 on the day of our stay, 27th September, we were sent an email saying that the restaurant could no longer honour our booking. We had checked into the hotel at 18.30, almost an hour after the cancellationn and were asked if we would like a reservation for dinner, when we said we had one at 8.30pm they opened up the list and after a moments thought we were asked if we would like to change to an earlier time, we declined but our booking was not there! I didn’t see the cancellation email until after we had dined (🤷🏻‍♀️) but it explained rushed service, our waiter disappearing after the last plate had been put down and also the cavalier treatment by other staff when we tried to get the bill and pay, one of whom actually shouted right down the empty restaurant ‘Do you want something?’, unbelievably rude in a restaurant of this status. The following morning as we checked-out we commented and were told they cancelled after we checked-in -they cancelled before and our thoughts are they wanted to close down early. Having said the above the food was beautiful and two of us opted for the wine paring option which complemented the meal perfectly. Such a shame as whilst dining the interaction with the waiters was really good with plenty of laughs and smiles on both sides. We were served in part by a young gentleman currently training in college, his demeanour and approach were first class, he deserves a mention.

04/04/2024: Excelentes pizzas, fartas, cozidas em fogo de lenha. Serviço impecável. Preço muito razoável.

11/09/2024: Nous avons expérimenter cette table . Ma déception concernant la cuisine et ses plats. Le menu à 74 euros plus 45 euros pour un service de vins accompagnant les plats Je reste sur une déception car étant moi-même cuisinier, je ne vais pas démonter la cuisine qui nous a été servir. Je dira regrettable de ne pas avoir sus trouver du plaisir dans notre dégustation, le beurre aux truffes n'avait aucune sauveur. Le plats principale était fade malgré de belle présentation. Je ne reviendrai pas dans cette endroit qui était malgré tout charment et accueillant. Au passage le service était parfait. Très decus de la cuisine.

12/05/2024: Quelle merveilleuse adresse. Le service est attentionné et parfait. La cuisine gastronomique vraiment délicieuse et l’accord mets et vins vraiment parfait. On ne peut que recommander cette adresse où tout est absolument parfait.
