16/07/2024: Excelente atendimento, a staff é muito simpática e atenciosa e a comida é caseira e muito bem confecionada. Foi a primeira vez que fui a Aveiro e sempre que lá voltar faço questão de almoçar neste restaurante! 5 estrelas!

03/11/2024: We visit Olhos several times a year and this is our ‘go to’ restaurant. Last month we ate there 4 times during our 10 day holiday and the food was faultless, service friendly and bills very reasonable. Experience was excellent whether dining as a couple or in a family party of 10. Highly recommended in a village where a poor restaurant is hard to find.

10/10/2024: Das Restaurant bietet eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Wir hatten Fisch und Fleisch zum Essen. War ganz gut, aber nichts spezielles. Das Personal war auch freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im Ganzen durchaus ein Besuch wert, vorallem nicht mitten im lärmigen Kuchen der Stadt.

10/09/2024: Experiência horrível. Pedi delivery nesse restaurante e só tenho a dizer que a experiência foi péssima. A comida não tem sabor nenhum, sem sal completamente. As carnes vieram demasiado tostada e com gosto amargo de queimadas não vale a pena. Nem o serviço de entrega foi bom sequer o entregador por incompetência não encontrava o meu bloco tive que andar à procura dele na rua. Péssima comida e péssimo serviço. Vale 0 estrelas

27/08/2024: Lugar que deixa muito a desejar. Marcamos mesa para as 20h. Chegamos e estava tudo pronto a nossa espera, entradas como combinado. 1.20h depois e nada de jantar. Perguntamos 3x pelo mesmo. Até que dissemos que em 10 m iríamos embora visto estarmos imenso tempo a espera. Finalmente começaram a servir, carne fria sem sabor. Não pedimos arroz e junto a carne vinha bagos de arroz( algo estranho ju.a mesa de 20 pessoas onde ninguém pediu arroz). Pedimos para falar com um responsável mas em varias pessoas que estavam a servir ninguém era responsável pela situação. Pedimos sangria( veio vinho branco com espuma de cerveja e fruta). Saímos frustrados pela noite estragada, Sem esquecer que os pratos das entradas ficaram a encher a mesa até ao fim do jantar...

14/08/2024: Staff were very rude particularly the manger who literally threw the bill (on a plastic tray) onto the table when we asked for it. Only went in for drinks and snacks, chips were OK but nachos arrived burnt around the edges. Stray cat running around under the tables. Awful place, would not recommend at all.

13/08/2024: Este restaurante/bar tem um grave problema nos recursos humanos, um dos Srs que serve que creio que seja o dono, julgo que seja o Sr Paulo, estaria muito melhor empregue sem contacto com o público. Prima pela antipatia e desprezo pelo cliente. Já cá tinha estado à dois anos e a impressão não era das melhores. Desta vez, confirmou-se.

14/10/2024: Returned here for a meal and were so disappointed with food and service. Ordered our food the starter arrived and so did the main course. We asked the waitress to please take it back as we were not ready she seemed surprised and put out that we didn’t want it. When she brought it back again 20 minutes later we had not asked for it. We reluctantly accepted it. It was the same omelettes as before but now they were just warm and rubbery we tried but couldn’t eat it. It’s sad to see a place change so much. When I tried to engage in conversation with the waitress she said it’s the same as it’s always been and walked away. I beg to differ we have been there many times over the years. Sadly it will be our last time.

12/10/2024: Have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years and the chicken piripir is absolutely the best, lovely staff and always accomadating have been with family with children always happy to help

10/10/2024: Kleines Restaurant in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse im Zentrum. Endlich mal etwas weniger Lärm. Der Chef war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die offene Küche ist toll und die zum Glück kleine Speisekarte bot eine gute Abwechslung. Ob das Chicken Piri oder der Fisch. Alles war sehr gut gekocht und abgeschmeckt. Die Preise sind sehr gut und wir genossen den Abend.

08/10/2024: We planned to eat elsewhere, however we asked our Jeep Safari guide for a recommendation in the old town area, and ended up here. We had a delicious seafood rice for 2. We did not have to wait longer than approximately 25 min for our food. The restaurant is hidden away on a side street which was really nice. Especially, since it was away from all the noise and chaos a bit further down. Yet, it is still completely central and close to the beach. A recommendation - turn off the TV (there are two TVs - one is with music, the other is with the news) it is quite annoying to listen to. Put on some nice Portuguese music instead:)

15/09/2024: We have visited twice so far during this holiday. Vitor gave us a warm and friendly welcome each time. We have had the special bean stew, sea bass, chicken piri piri and chicken with mushroom sauce. Everything was very tasty especially the chicken piri piri! Very reasonably priced too. Highly recommend visiting if you are in Acoteias.

22/05/2024: Highly recommend this restaurant. We have been visiting the area for 9 years and always make a point of eating here at least a couple of times throughout our stay. The food is amazing and great value. Today they went out of their way to make my husband something that isn’t even on the menu and it was fantastic.
