24/04/2024: Close to the Tavira market we had one of the best meals we had in Tavira to-date - the seafood “stew” was fab and the roast turkey cooked perfectly as well. Loved that the dish of the day options also included a smaller portion option and I could choose rice over French fries (or if you prefer you can do both). Highly recommend and will look forward to another visit. Also to note the local to-go line was very busy and the desserts were just as popular as the mains.

01/10/2024: If you are in search of a UK / Irish pub were you can enjoy simple pub foods, a beer & a cigarette in a sunny location beside the river, then this is for you.
If you are in search of better quality food, Portuguese culture or attentive service, then look elsewhere.
Its trump card is its prominent location, which almost guarantees it will be busy with tourist trade. . But it also means the management don't have to try too hard, so the transient staff lack experience, the service is slow & the food is mediocre.
In summary: Wetherspoons in the sun.
27/09/2024: Another lovely lunch. Great fish and chips and chicken satay. Always worth a visit . Beautiful location right on the riverside.

30/05/2024: Loved visiting this bar last year, with the live music on Friday and Saturday being really good, so it was disappointing to find on this year's visit no live music with only a dj on Saturday. Not sure if it has different management team but it was a very different atmosphere and didn't make us
want to stay for long.
The food was still good.

13/05/2024: Always look forward to coming back here. Their home made quiche is the best I’ve ever tasted. My partner always opts for the tuna baguette. Very good value for money and it’s nice to see the same people running this year after year.

very friendly staff ,no problem with language as they spoke English and understood my attempt at Portugese.
Excellent coffee and pastel de nata .
Spotlessly clean .
Great spot to sit and watch the world go by ,very popular with locals and tourists alike ,definitely recommend and would visit again

08/09/2024: Had the tuna baguette, tuna brioche and lemon meringue. Absolutely delicious and the best coffee I’ve had in Portugal since arriving a week ago. Spotlessly clean and friendly and efficient staff. We’ll be back again before we head home.
