06/09/2024: Location en terras are nice. Personnel friendly and the door was oké to good. But the wine per glass was simply not good. We tryed the bubbles, which was not bad met not good as well. We tasted the white wine and simply skipped it, as is wat tasteless. The red wine was “oke”
But to clear the wine was why below par. Needs a good upgrade.
26/08/2024: Lovely food I would recommend the cheeseburger. My friend had peri peri chicken which was nice although she felt it didn’t have much chicken in it but she still enjoyed. Drinks option is wide . Good for kids . Only thing toilets are for public so have to walk a bit along to get there . Menu was massive so took so long to choose !

07/10/2024: Positives first - this is a nice looking restaurant in a good location. BUT the food was really not good. It was bland, tasteless and overpriced. Even the French Fries tasted of nothing, and they were lukewarm. We wanted a bottle of the local verde wine which started at 15 euros. The head guy said he wasn’t sure what they had available and then turned up a few minutes later with a bottle which he proceeded to open and pour before telling us it was 24 euros! Really, I would not recommend this place at all.
11/07/2024: Great wee family run cafe where you can watch the world go by. It’s our home from home in Alvor. Staff are lovely & there is an excellent range of drinks and snacks. Always has a great atmosphere.

Bife saboroso servido com batatas fritas e arroz. Não nos perguntaram como o bife deveria ser cozido. Foi bem feito como padrão.
Caso contrário, saboroso. Pessoal simpático.
02/04/2024: Uma estrela porque 19 euros. 95 por meio litro de sangria (era bom) é realmente caro.
De qualquer forma, peça o cartão! Eu fui “ingênuo” sobre isso.

19/07/2024: Me and my daughter loved this place. The staff were very nice and efficient. The views good, either for the Seaview or for people watching. Also a nice cool breeze on hot days.
Good selection of drinks from morning coffee to afternoon beer to after dinner nightcap. Great all round bar. We pop in at least once a day for a quick relaxed drunk or snack.
Food was great too. We had a nice lunch of snails, chips and gorgeous bread.

03/10/2024: After having a very lovely tasty tapas lunch we decided to return a couple of days later for dinner but were very sadly disappointed
The sharing steak was very fatty and chewy and not enjoyable at all.
The guy who welcomed us was friendly and accommodating (the manager/owner ?!) the other staff, not so much !
Good location just shame about the steak
27/09/2024: After we sat down we were handed 1 menu between 4 of us then waited ages for a waiter to come and take our order. They seemed very disorganised. When our order was finally taken the waiter continued to stand there and look at us for some reason. Even though we had specified that we were only having drinks. Waited quite a long time for the drinks to come, they were ok. Then a ridiculous situation with the bill in a sardine can and we then had to place our cash in the sardine can. Would not return. Service is too slow and disorganised.

The Venue

08/10/2024: Friendly and always nice welcoming atmosphere, nice selection of drinks and go out there way to be nice when you arrive been here a few times when me and my fiancée have come to visit Alvor Portugal. We always tend to come back and have a drink in here when we come to visit the resort. Highly recommended 😊
13/07/2024: The staff here are brilliant! We have been using the Venue for over a decade, and the staff (G, Raphael, Omar and all the others that have worked their over the years) never fail to make you feel welcome. It's not a brand new building, so don't expect glitz and glamour. But, spend any amount of time sat outside, whether chilling with a beer or sipping on a coctail, you'll soon fall in love with the place. The new food menu is simple, but Lovely (yes, that's his name, and he really is!) Makes an amazing burger.
So don't just walk past, pop in and say hi, and relax for a while.
