24/09/2024: Beautiful setting and wonderful food would highly recommend. Staff were lovely and explained everything on the menu. The menu changes daily so you know the food is fresh and tastes fantastic!

11/10/2024: I had been highly recommended this place alas it did not live up to the reviews. I had a solo booking and was given a table that seemed like it was placed to jam in another table beside the toilets and in full flow of service. Layout of restaurant is terrible with crammed tables on top of one another, needs serious rethinking for care of clients and proper flow! Lack of warmth, indifference & care in the service, and non attentive - no checking in during the meal and sitting for along time after I had finished. Food wise I had specifically asked for well cooked foods as I have a health issue yet I received cold & undercooked eggs. I was not impressed and will not recommend nor return.
28/09/2024: The service was shocking, we waited 15 minutes for water to be served and it took about an hour for the first dish to be served. People just kept arriving through the door and they couldn’t cope- it was a shambles - We were told they were short staffed, pure greed by the owner cramming clients in. Our booking stated it was until 21:00h - we were in the middle of eating the first dishes at this time and he had clients waiting for tables for at least 20 minutes!

10/10/2024: This was a revisit and the restaurant has had a bit of an update inside and looks great. Still the same great live music and atmosphere (amazing). The biggest thing for me was the food as I thought it was a bit disappointing last time. It was so so good, fantastic seafood, really tasty appetizers. The staff were also brilliant and were friendly, happy, and upbeat even when all the guests were absolutely hammered and probably being a pain! Loved it!
07/10/2024: Bex and J have worked hard to create the perfect beach restaurant. Having done so, they continue to ensure that it maintains the highest standards of food and drinks quality, service and customer enjoyment. The setting is perfect, and no one leaves without having had a great time and wanting to return, especially when the live music is on!!!

And the more I think about it the more disappointed I am - waiters and waitresses everywhere and 1 sommelier who in my view has now idea what he is doing
2nd glass poured from a different bottle
3rd glass poured into some of my already existing wine
Then thankyou euros 36 per glass

26/10/2024: Cannot recommend this place enough- worth a visit.
A group of 11 descended (had not long arrived in portugal); the owner was fantastic accommodating us. As the vegetarian I was prepared to have just chips but had the most delicious veggie burger. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the meal so much so that we had a takeout from there later in the holiday.
05/06/2024: Can’t recommend this place enough! The burger is delicious, the bun so light and airy! The chips are lush and the pot of sauce that it comes with is so tasty! The service is excellent, so friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend 🩷

25/09/2024: Lovely chilled atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful, the food is ok, nothing wrong with it but nothing special either, portion size is fine. Biggest disappointment was our cocktails, far too much sugar was in them making them sickly sweet.
18/09/2024: What a wonderful place - had a great day with family and friends. Food excellent - staff very good. The small beachy area by the lake perfect for the grand children. A very relaxing afternoon.

12/10/2024: Very happy group when we popped in on absolute off chance and they where able to put rugby on for us (bath vs Gloucester).
We had two toddlers and everyone was unfazed.
Good prices and awesome food.
22/07/2024: Excellent find - Barry and his team were so welcoming and the husband and wife couple that look after the food deserve a very special mention - food was really lovely and served efficiently and with big smiles and great attention - have to say we were very impressed and highly recommend - prices reasonable also.

Arnaque totale en fonction du prix affiché à emporter et le prix assis.
Une facture de 40 euros pour 2, olives à 1 euro, pain à 1 euro, beurre a 1.50 ...2 X 1/2 poulets à 21.80 !!!!
On a fait l'erreur de ne pas demander la carte avant sinon on aurait fui direct
Vu les autres commentaires laissés, on n'est pas les seuls à critiquer et on préfère aussi manger nos olives chez nous
