06/07/2024: We were staying in a villa a few mins away and this little gem quickly became our local for the football matches (all RTE for any Irish who might be interested). It's clean and tidy. A couple of pool tables. The hosts were excellent and clearly appreciated the business. The terrace at front catches a lot of sun in the afternoon, it's also great for a chat with passers by. If your concerned about prices, a few of the different beers were €3 per pint.

02/07/2024: Viele Jahre ein Besuch wert. Früher wurde diese Bar vom selben Ehepaar gut geführt und es war eine Freude, dort einzukehren. Beim letzten Besuch wurde ich Augenzeuge eines britischen Kotzwettbewerbes. Als ich zu den Wirten meinte, was dies für eine Kundschaft sei, entgegnete sie: eine Gute, mit welcher man überleben kann.

13/10/2024: On a roasting hot afternoon my twin brother and I were exploring around this part of the resort when with temperatures hitting 32 degrees Celsius we decided to drop by Snack Bar Tianica ,been here before on previous holidays, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking snack Bar, interior is superb, light and airy, an eye catching serving bar, eclectic decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Avenida Los Descobrimentos. We sat outside after getting bottles of beer from Super Bock Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the sun while we sipped our beers. This is one of the most famous beers in Portugal ,perfect for the hot climate out here along the Algarve, golden in colour, light and hoppy, bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality beer and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Snack Bar Tianica we had a great time. Snack Bar Tianica is easy to locate along Rua Do Sol Faro . Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 6.30am till midnight. Well worth checking out if you're planning a holiday to Albufeira.

29/09/2024: If you visit Albufeira you'll notice how many local snack-bars there are and this superb snack-bar is located in R.do Sol.Snack-Bar Tianica is as local as it gets and was a very nice place to have a few drinks. This snack-bar has a traditional snack-bar look and feel with many interesting fixtures and features and excellent seating options both inside and outside and on our visit me and my twin brother had a few drinks.When we went to here we had a bottle's of Super Bock brewery beers which where iced cold and extremely cheap. It's a very authentic Portuguese snack-bar that's as good as it gets'that offers a good range of food and drinks that are very well priced and is well worth going to.(This is my first review of Snack-bar Tianica). Opening Hours. Monday-Saturday-06.30-00.00. Sunday-Closed.

01/10/2024: Pão Da Aldeia on Av.Sá Carneiro is a great Portuguese café that offer's a great range of pastrie's and snacks and drinks and was one of the many place's we visited on our 8 day holiday in Albufeira. It's in a prime location and was really busy when me and my twin brother visited in the afternoon.This café has a pristine well kept interior with nice local decor and plenty of good seating option's throughout the café interior. When we visited here we had a few cups of coffee with milk which were very refreshing and were very well priced.Its a superb well run café in a superb area of Albufeira and well worth visiting if you're around this area of the resort.(This is my first review and Pão Da Aldeia). 20/09/2024: The best Pastel de Natas! Super flakey, rich custard and very luxurious. They made for an excellent breakfast treat and paired very well with the strong espresso. The site is a little small so sitting and eating can be a bit challenge but getting the pastry to go is also an option. Everything is also very affordable! 2 espressos and 3 pastries was less than 6€. There is lots on offer that looks very tasty but given the small space, it was a bit difficult to fully see everything on display. We would definitely go back again though.

30/10/2024: My twin brother and I were pub and bar hopping around the wonderful Old Town of Albufeira when we decided to drop by Cafe Leo's ,been here before on previous holidays to this sun drenched resort, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. A great looking bar,interior is superb, very traditional Portuguese style, glass fronted serving counters showcase the goodies on offer, lovely decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets that make up this area of Old Town of Albufeira. We sat outside were we ordered a Beirao each, this very famous Portuguese liquor was served in a big glass with ice cube ,we chilled out and planned out the night ahead while sipping our Beirao's. A big fan of licor bierao, a very smooth liquor, so easy to drink, so tasty, it's the drink I most associate with Portugal. We both really enjoyed our drinks in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Cafe Leo's we had a great time. Cafe Leo's is easy to locate along Rua Do Tenis,a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some very cool architecture. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 9am. Well worth checking out if you're in the Old Town of Albufeira.

21/10/2024: This is a great place for food and at a reasonable price Leo is so nice place is always spotless definitely recommend anyone staying around the area to visit

25/09/2024: Great bar for watching sports. Multiple screens and staff will pretty much ensure there’s a screen showing what you want to watch. Super friendly manager and staff, good value drinks and bar food is nice too. We made it our local while we were on holiday. Always a warm welcome.

26/09/2024: Como estava de férias, parei para tomar uma bebida, acabei por jantar. Comida 5 estrelas, bom atendimento. E preço barato. Recomendo.

25/08/2024: Quelle déception ça fait 13 ans que nous venions dans ce snack qui était rapport qualité prix personnel enfin tout était au top 😊 Mais hier , bitoque sans goût , viande trop cuite , crevette à l’ail non décortiquée à 13 eur , cheveux dans le toast mixte enfin bref un dégât. Nous avons dit à la patronne qui n’as pas vraiment eu l air d’être impacter pas notre expérience nous étions 6 , Triste expérience qui nous fait malheureusement dire que nous ne reviendrons plus ici . Parfois il faut savoir faire une différence entre vouloir toujours gagner plus et préserver la qualité ….
