20/09/2024: This is a prime spot and with some love, cleaning materials & money, this could be a GREAT place. Unfortunately, it's all a bit grubby, old mans pub feeling. This might be the vibe they are going for of course, inside the pub is DEFINITELY leaning towards grubby old, dark pub! It's pretty rowdy & loud when football is on, full of drunk blokes shouting outside. The terrace at the side looks out over the sea and there are seats on the street - a mish mash of plastic chairs and tables. Beer is OK, I wouldn't trust the food, so I can't comment on that. There are some lovely pots of flowers and herbs outside in the seated area - and I watched a bit horrified as EVERY dog that came past had a whizz up the herbs. Hope there is nothing on the menu requiring "thyme" because you will be getting some free dog whizz on that.

09/06/2024: Attentive staff and good service but wouldn’t eat here after seeing kitchen. Drinks on the patio is very relaxing but no food.

07/09/2024: Bom ambiente,os funcionários são simpáticos e agradáveis. A proprietária não sabe lidar com clientes e principalmente com crianças, não a conhecia e a primeira vez que se dirigiu a nossa mesa veio com uma arrogância extremamente desnecessária,já se sabe que não dura muito assim. Voltaremos quando mudar de proprietário pois gostamos muito do local.

07/09/2024: Péssima e arrogante abordagem por parte da dona do estabelecimento em face de termos as miúdas 2/5/7 anos respectivamente a brincarem na esplanada exterior , a dizer que incomodava os demais clientes. Esplanada exterior vazia, preenchida de clientes " invisíveis" .

30/03/2024: Ótima oportunidade para uma bebida ou lanche. Pessoal muito simpático. Convenientemente localizado no coração de Monte Gordo.

27/09/2024: Às 19h, com o restaurante vazio (apenas 1 mesa ocupada), recusaram-se a aceitar sentar-nos para beber um vinho, pois "trata-se de um restaurante e não de um bar". Acho que então o conceito deveria ser alterado: passar de "adega da vila" para "restaurante da vila" e não ter o termo bar como propaganda, já que dizem não o ser. Para além de que não se podem recusar a atender dois clientes, independentemente do pedido feito. Perderam dois clientes... Obrigado. Ainda bem que Loulé está cheio de RESTAURANTES que não se negam a servir.

08/09/2024: Excellent service and food, friendly atmosphere, with a DJ on Friday's evening and Saturday's lunchtime. Gluten and Lactose free food, several tapas dishes. Great wine and more than 50 different Gin's. It is a really good space to go when visiting the area of Loulé and with traditional food. We spent per person around 20 to 30€ with bottles of wine and several tapas.

17/09/2024: Stopped here for drinks around 11am so didn’t eat any food but had a great pint of Super Bock and the girl had a litre of Sangria which they said was delicious,absolutely stunning views of the beach would highly recommend

30/07/2024: Absolutely love this place - spent a couple of hours each day at sunny corner enjoying the view. Service back on track & lovely food / drinks - amazing place to sit with friends / family or solo as I did every now & again to just chillax & people watch.

20/10/2024: We visited here after dinner and had an amazing experience. We went here for drinks, mainly Guinness, and were massively impressive. The bartenders: Arbin, Dharam and Michael were extremely helpful and friendly. Absolutely would recommend visiting here if you are in the area, a very welcoming place!

28/09/2024: Always a lovely place to come day or night. The staff are delightful and always polite. Tom is an absolute pleasure to catch up with whenever we visit.

20/08/2024: Sehr leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen zu einem fairen Preis. (Angebot: Suppe des Tages + Hauptspeise + Dessert + Kaffeespezialität für knapp 20€) Der Inhaber ist trotz seines Alters sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend - bringt einfach bei eurem Restaurantbesuch von Anfang an ein wenig mehr Zeit und Verständnis mit und ich garantiere euch einen gelungenen Abend. Mein persönliches Highlight des Abends war der Hot Stone, mit denen man das Fleisch anbrät, sowie die Mousse au Chocolate. 🦜

14/07/2024: Nous avons passé une excellente soirée autour de crevettes et d'une pierrade. La viande est excellente. Le patron est aux petits soins pour ses clients. Le vin rouge proposé, Castelo de Arraiolos, est exceptionnel pour un millésime 2022.

14/10/2024: Geen opdringerige binnen halen van evt nieuwe klanten, gewoon relaxed. Gezellige omgeving even weg van de fastfood restaurants. Hier kan je nog gewoon relaxed eten. Komen zeker nog een keer terug

14/09/2024: Not as good as used to be. Service was quick and friendly. We were suprised we didn't have to wait for a table. In fact we was only ones inside af first. Hubby had the ribs. He found them a bit splintery. I had the stroganoff steak. Looked great but couldn't eat most of the steak. Was very fatty and gristly . Had difficulty cutting it and chewing it. So didn't bother eating it all. What I will say is the 'manager asked if I would like something else but I just didn't fancy anything else by now. He didnt charge me for my meal as a goodwill gesture. It's a shame as this was always our go to place

31/10/2024: A lovely little restaurant with great food and attentive staff. The food was superb - I am not a great fish eater but the sardines were so delicious. I also had the swordfish which was excellent. I would thoroughly recommend Ferraras to anyone!

20/09/2024: The best swordfish for many years! High level of marine taste in the very first bite! Attentive but unfussy service. Will be back.

30/09/2024: If I could give this place 0 out of 5 I would. Today, at around 11am, myself, husband and 2 children visited this bakery hoping to go on the more positive reviews as opposed to the negative. BIG MISTAKE! Ordered 2 cappuccinos and an oat milk latte. The latte was watery, not a proper thick milk consistency so I took it back and asked for it to be removed from the bill. Then we ordered food. Myself and daughter ordered toasties, my husband ordered a burger, and my son a full English (supposedly). The toasties had thin slices of cheap processed cheese and most shocking, mushrooms that were from a carton or tin 🤢 my daughter looked inside her toastie and at 8 years old said they didn't look nice. At the very least, a cafe should be using fresh produce especially fruit and vegetables! The bread for the toasties was dry, and the fillings unappealing. So much so, we saw a waiter collect nearly 2 full trays of uneaten toasties that other customers had left (clearly dissatisfied) so at least I knew I wasn't being overly critical. I requested to speak to the 'chef' that was of Indian descent (running a Portuguese urban bakery 🤔) he barely responded to my criticism, he didn't seem surprised or bothered. My only positive is that the staff were very helpful, and young woman in particular was genuinely attentive and friendly, even offered free custard tarts to my children. The bakery looks well presentable, but the food on the menu is of a poor standard considering we ate out in a few local restaurants and cafés that we never once had any complaints about whilst stay in Carvoeiro before heading to Faro on our last day. I doubt the owner will care much of this review, but, on the off chance they genuinely care about their business, please consider giving customers the respect they deserve by serving FRESH food, and not cutting costs using the cheapest ingredients, because it is noticeable. I'd rather pay more and know I have wholesome healthy food. I'd have better off going to a McDonald's. Really disappointing experience.

16/09/2024: My wife and I were in a hurry one morning on our way to a tour, so we stopped in for a quick breakfast. I had a breakfast toastie, and my wife had a croissant. Everything was very tasty and the croissant was fresh out of the oven. If you’re in the area and need something good and quick, this is the place to go.
