29/09/2024: Took a trip out to Santana and called him here on a Monday lunchtime. The restaurant and terrace was almost full but managed to get a table.
Had our best traditional meal of our holiday. We had grilled tuna and stake on a skewer. Both were really tasty and tender.
The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend a visit.

21/09/2024: Het eten was simpel maar heerlijk, de bediening erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een knoflookbroodje vooraf, heerlijke vis als hoofdgerecht en een zalig toetje voor zeer weinig geld. Echt een aanrader!

22/11/2024: Bardzo fajna ukryta restauracja, trafiliśmy przypadkiem z opinii Google. Urocze miejsce, piękny ogród i widok na ocean. Obsługa przemiła a jedzenie smaczne i dobrze doprawione.

14/10/2024: Este lugar é excelente para uma refeição. O almoço, sugestão da casa, guisado de cabrito estavs delicioso, mesmo à moda do campo.
06/10/2024: For the first time it was an excellent experience loved the customer service the food was also amazing I would definitely recommend 👌 and definitely coming back also the view we get it's just something else .

15/11/2024: Very good food. I ordered the vegetarian options. We stayed at the hotel so it was very convenient. Ambiance was lovely with a fire place. Only critique was that the servers did not know what exactly the meals consisted of. Our server had to ask someone multiple times and it the end got my dessert wrong.
09/11/2024: The vegetarian options were less and lacked flavour. Lentil Soup and pumpkin soup were very sweet and didn’t have enough seasoning. So overall it was very average. Service was good though :)

28/11/2024: FANTÁSTICO!!! venho à Casa de Palha desde criança e recomendo MUITO!!! o frango da casa com puré de batata e couve é fantástico e super saboroso!! Staff super atencioso, lugar acolhedor, agradável e limpo! 5 estrelas

Para além da staff ser atenciosa, cordial e altamente eficiente, a comida ser caseira, reconfortante e deliciosa, ainda aproveitamos por acréscimo para ficar a conhecer uma casa com tanta história. Certamente que voltaremos a este lugar feliz!

15/11/2024: L’ambiente è semplice, il proprietario simpatico, ci siamo stati 2 volte e non si è smentito.
Cucina alla brace sia carne che pesce, tutto buonissimo, rapporto qualità prezzo eccezionale, consigliatissimo
14/10/2024: Place was quiet when we arrived and maybe not overly inviting on the outside but we did eat outside and the inside was pretty nice. Had a beef and chicken skewer, which came with chips, rice and sales included. When it came it was well cooked and tasty. We actually shared this between two of us as the wife generally does not eat beef and there was plenty for both of us. Need a big appetite to finish one off on your own. All this with a Brisa and a bottle coke for €17.00.
Locals seem to use the place so that says something and the toilets were immaculate according to the wife who notices these things!
I’d definitely recommend the very short distance away from the centre and give it a go, there is parking on the front so you don’t have to worry about trying to park on the street.
