10/10/2024: The service was outstanding and the food was fun, creative, and delicious! We loved their versions of gazpacho and the tapas plate for two was amazing. The lime semifredo was a masterpiece as advertised! Awesome job by the kitchen and front of the house to make this a truly special experience

05/10/2024: Last night we had an amazing dinner here. The food was so flavorful and uniquely presented. Were very impressed with the compound butters beautifully presented and their taste. The Octopus was Devine, as was the Corvina. Loved the different flavors of the Tapas, and my pear on brioche & ice cream was delicious! The service was friendly and superb. Thank you for a wonderful and unforgettable meal.

29/08/2024: Gosto de comer aqui, e quando estou no Algarve venho aqui e como demais todas as suas deliciosas e variadas comidas. O casal é adorável e tem muito gosto pelo ambiente e tem muito gosto por vinhos e decorações. Perfeito para ter uma ótima experiência gastronômica para experiências íntimas a dois, mas também para grandes grupos. Definitivamente voltando. Obrigado!

18/09/2024: Le meilleur resto qu’on ait fait au Portugal ! Un rapport qualité prix imbattable le plat autour de 20€ avec la boisson et le dessert compris ! L’endroit est cosy et le serveur d’un calme très agréable ! Quelques tables et seulement quelques plats… tout est fait maison! On recommande +++

13/09/2024: We were a group of friends (10 in tal) and booked to have dinner in the outside courtyard with cover. The menu offered a wide choice of meats and fish with some unusual options, that were amazing eg swordfish. The food was excellent as was the service and attention of the owner and staff. We are here for a few more days and will return again before we leave. Highly recommended for quality of food, attentive service and reasonable prices.

09/10/2024: From start to finish this meal was fantastic! We've been in Portugal 3 weeks and this was by far the best meal we've had - service was amazing; the food was delicious ( pork cheeks) and the presentation was first class; and the entire restaurant is clean, well run and efficient!! Don't hesitate to choose this Restaurant!!

20/10/2024: Out walking from Ferriguda to Carveiro & stumbled across this fab restaurant.Couldn’t believe the Value .I had the Prawns big fat juicy ones with potato & salad half liter of wine ,water ,chocolate cake & coffee all for €15 .Unbelievable and all served with a smile 😀

02/10/2024: Exelente qualidade ao melhor preço Com tudo incluído paguei 17 Euros por entrada: pão manteigas e azeitonas, mais uma dose de lingueiráo, prato principal costeleta de vitela, com meio litro de vinho, sobremesa doce e café. Melhor no Algarve é impossível

06/10/2024: Chrissy’s is our “Go To” restaurant. We have been on many occasions for both lunch and dinner and always enjoy the food as well as Pedro and his staff. Had dinner there 2 nights ago. It is a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses and includes the couvert, water and wine. We both had the “Specials” starting with excellent spicey prawns followed by filets of seabass and then (my weakness!) ice cream with hot chocolate sauce. House wine was a very drinkable red from Lisboa. The service is relaxed and friendly. Yes, we will be returning.

03/10/2024: Recommended to us. Well presented fabulous food. Great idea to have set prices for how many courses you want. Superb value. Lovely setting with attentive service. Glad we went and will definitely return.

27/09/2024: During our recent stay at Pestana Palm Gardens, my family and I had the pleasure of often dining at Sal&Tal, and it was truly a delightful experience. The cuisine was outstanding; I highly recommend trying the octopus dish—it's absolutely divine! The risotto and another dishes were equally wonderful, bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Additionally, the staff were incredibly polite and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the evening. I can’t recommend Sal&Tal enough for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

04/09/2024: Desde o pequeno-almoço fantástico, as bebidas e os snacks à hora de almoço deliciosos e depois ao final do dia, um jantar com muito requinte e um sabor divinal, toda esta experiência só ficou ainda melhor com a simpatia e boa disposição dos empregados. A experiencia foi excelente e se mais alguma vez ficar neste hotel, este restaurante é paragem obrigatória.

15/10/2024: Always reliable & delicious. Parcel of Goats cheese & honey in filo pastry starter, or Duck Liver Pâté - delicious. Succulent Alentejo Pork Special - Melt in the mouth tender, nice sauce. Mojito too.I did not regret being adventurous!

29/09/2024: Ambiente: Für das kleine Ferragudo erscheint dieses Restaurant doch ein wenig touristisch. Portugiesisch mit Pizza? Auch ist die Bestuhlung ein wenig eng aufgestellt. Aber letztendlich kann mein einen entspannten Abend erleben. Essen: Das Couvert ist ebenfalls ziemlich touristisch. Die Paté kann man auch im Intermarché kaufen. Die Oliven gibt es im Supermarkt. Aber dann kam die Octopus-Cataplana. Und die war wirklich gut. Die Menge an Meeresfrüchten sucht seines Gleichen. Es kam mir so vor, als ob hier nicht nur ein Tintenfisch verarbeitet wurde. Auch die Süsskartoffeln waren hier ein geschmackliches Highlight. Cleverer Zug! Personal: sehr aufmerksam. Wir wurden immer wieder unaufdringlich nach unseren Wünschen gefragt. Preise: Für die Menge und letztendlich auch für die Qualität absolut sachgerecht. Fazit: Es gibt sicherlich authentischere Restaurants. Aber die Cataplana hat echt überzeugt.

15/10/2024: Carvoeiro has a number of good restaurants, but i would certainly recommend that you give this one a try. The food is excellent, the service is friendly yet professional. and the prices are very reasonable. We have been many times over the last few years, and every meal was enjoyable, but the fish cataplana last week was amazing.

01/10/2024: My daughter order Caesar salad and found a living creeping bug in her salad. Their response was very poor. Did not charge for the salad with a lot of ado but still charged for her drink and extras ordered. Disappointed with this basic failure in hygiene standards and with their subsequent response

10/10/2024: This restaurant is in a quaint location and the service was very good. My husband and I didn’t particularly enjoy the food, however. We were looking for authentic local food and we found it here but I felt that all of the dishes were extremely heavy (oil, sauces) and not suited to my taste. Perhaps some of this is characteristic to Portuguese cuisine, but having eaten at several other restaurants in the area, this was my least favorite.

26/09/2024: A wonderful authentic Portuguese restaurant with lots of options on the menu. The fresh fish dishes and the steak were excellent . The service is also very good and the owner takes pride in his establishment. A great find!

27/08/2024: For many years we past the Restaurant, now our first time: a shame we didn’t go there these last few years. Authentic in atmosphere and service, food was very, very nice, simple but good quality. Nothing to complain about prices. We will be back!

21/08/2024: Lovely meal. This is a little gem a few minute drive away from the beaches. Lovely food. We had the roast chicken and prawns which weee both yummy. Friendly service too!

19/10/2024: This is a really cute old farm house, and the staff was extremely friendly. The wine selection was great too. We were however disappointed with the food. The starters were great (albeit really small), but our mains (fillet steak) were not good. My steak was cold whereas my family's (other 3 orders) were chewy. For that price point I expected much better. They did apologise and took one steak out of the bill, but still disappointing.

23/10/2024: Super lekker gedineerd in deze zaak. Eerlijke en verfijnde keuken met Portugese touch in een zeer aangenaam kader. Attente, vriendelijke bediening. Beviel ons zo dat we dit restaurant tweemaal bezochten tijdens ons verblijf Zeker een aanrader !!
