12/12/2024: This is our second memorable meal from Gaspacho & Migas. The first was one they catered at a sunset dinner in a winery setting with live Jazz music.
This time, we enjoyed a fado night in their lovely restaurant in Lagoa. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Everything on our prix fix menu was prepared with care and beautifully plated. Flavours were magnificent! We had a delightful experience.
We Canadians highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

Espaço muito cuidado.
Ambiente calmo e descontraído, com muito bom atendimento.
A comida é digna de estrela, pratos muitíssimo bem confeccionados.
A carta tem varias opções diversificadas.
Optima carta de vinhos.

29/08/2024: Gosto de comer aqui, e quando estou no Algarve venho aqui e como demais todas as suas deliciosas e variadas comidas. O casal é adorável e tem muito gosto pelo ambiente e tem muito gosto por vinhos e decorações. Perfeito para ter uma ótima experiência gastronômica para experiências íntimas a dois, mas também para grandes grupos. Definitivamente voltando. Obrigado!

23/10/2024: Precioso restaurante familiar en Porches. Gran comida local a precio todo incluido para couvert, vino, café y dulce. Comida excelentemente cocinada y bien cuidada por el anfitrión.

09/10/2024: From start to finish this meal was fantastic! We've been in Portugal 3 weeks and this was by far the best meal we've had - service was amazing; the food was delicious ( pork cheeks) and the presentation was first class; and the entire restaurant is clean, well run and efficient!! Don't hesitate to choose this Restaurant!!
04/10/2024: Adoramos o ambiente que é bem arejado, os funcionários muito educados e atenciosos e a comida muito boa. Almoçamos duas vezes neste restaurante e adoramos, preços bons também.

20/10/2024: Out walking from Ferriguda to Carveiro & stumbled across this fab restaurant.Couldn’t believe the Value .I had the Prawns big fat juicy ones with potato & salad half liter of wine ,water ,chocolate cake & coffee all for €15 .Unbelievable and all served with a smile 😀

Com tudo incluído paguei 17 Euros por entrada: pão manteigas e azeitonas, mais uma dose de lingueiráo, prato principal costeleta de vitela, com meio litro de vinho, sobremesa doce e café.

06/10/2024: Chrissy’s is our “Go To” restaurant. We have been on many occasions for both lunch and dinner and always enjoy the food as well as Pedro and his staff.
Had dinner there 2 nights ago. It is a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses and includes the couvert, water and wine. We both had the “Specials” starting with excellent spicey prawns followed by filets of seabass and then (my weakness!) ice cream with hot chocolate sauce. House wine was a very drinkable red from Lisboa. The service is relaxed and friendly. Yes, we will be returning.
03/10/2024: Recommended to us. Well presented fabulous food. Great idea to have set prices for how many courses you want. Superb value. Lovely setting with attentive service. Glad we went and will definitely return.

12/10/2024: Wir haben im Hexagone einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Bedienung auf angenehme Art aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, die Atmosphäre einem gehobenen Restaurant entsprechend.
We spend a very nice evening at the Hexagone. Delicious food, excellent and friendly service, the atmosphere was appropriate for a high level restaurant.

15/10/2024: Carvoeiro has a number of good restaurants, but i would certainly recommend that you give this one a try.
The food is excellent, the service is friendly yet professional. and the prices are very reasonable.
We have been many times over the last few years, and every meal was enjoyable, but the fish cataplana last week was amazing.
01/10/2024: My daughter order Caesar salad and found a living creeping bug in her salad. Their response was very poor. Did not charge for the salad with a lot of ado but still charged for her drink and extras ordered. Disappointed with this basic failure in hygiene standards and with their subsequent response

17/11/2024: Vraiment sympa le resto ! le serveur est super et parle plusieurs langue ! très à l'écoute du client ! bon conseil sur les plats et vins ! La viande est vraiment bonne et les frites croustillantes ! le dessert copieux et tout est très bons ! le prix est raisonnable et c'est d'une bonne qualité ! vraiment bravo ! on reviendra pour goûter autres plats !

10/10/2024: This restaurant is in a quaint location and the service was very good. My husband and I didn’t particularly enjoy the food, however. We were looking for authentic local food and we found it here but I felt that all of the dishes were extremely heavy (oil, sauces) and not suited to my taste. Perhaps some of this is characteristic to Portuguese cuisine, but having eaten at several other restaurants in the area, this was my least favorite.
26/09/2024: A wonderful authentic Portuguese restaurant with lots of options on the menu. The fresh fish dishes and the steak were excellent . The service is also very good and the owner takes pride in his establishment. A great find!

06/11/2024: Capela nunca deja de proporcionar buena comida a un precio razonable.
Una fantástica selección de Tapas, todas recién hechas y con excelentes ingredientes.
Tienen unos vinos estupendos y su menú principal ofrece una gran selección para adultos y niños y muy recomendable.
Gracias Bruno, es uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Ferragudo!
14/09/2024: DIVINAL! Petiscos extremamente bem confecionados e o bife na tábua simplesmente fantástico, quer na apresentação do prato quer no sabor! Atendimento extremamente simpático, espaço muito acolhedor e só lamento ter conhecido agora esta casa . Vai ficar no topo da minha lista!

19/10/2024: This is a really cute old farm house, and the staff was extremely friendly. The wine selection was great too. We were however disappointed with the food. The starters were great (albeit really small), but our mains (fillet steak) were not good. My steak was cold whereas my family's (other 3 orders) were chewy. For that price point I expected much better. They did apologise and took one steak out of the bill, but still disappointing.

27/08/2024: For many years we past the Restaurant, now our first time: a shame we didn’t go there these last few years. Authentic in atmosphere and service, food was very, very nice, simple but good quality. Nothing to complain about prices. We will be back!
21/08/2024: Lovely meal. This is a little gem a few minute drive away from the beaches. Lovely food. We had the roast chicken and prawns which weee both yummy. Friendly service too!
