29/09/2024: I was expecting much more after reading all the superb reviews of this restaurant; quite frankly we were very disappointed and have had much better pizzas elsewhere. Ours were burnt around the edges with a very thick, doughy outer crust and were absolutely swimming in cheese. Definitely not worth the hour’s wait for a table.

27/09/2024: No 1 and for very good reason. Opens 7pm, joined queue of about 20 people at 6.45pm on a Tuesday evening and was lucky enough to get a seat when it opened. The waiter was a gentleman and honest enough when we were ordering starters that 2 were enough for four people rather than one each as they were quiet large. We had a type of bread which was light and airy dipped in a tomato sauce with cheese, just out of this world. Had 4 pizzas all of different toppings , all 4 of us could not find any fault just beautiful. Two desserts which were homemade and to die for, atmosphere just perfect , people queuing up outside to get in and we can see why. If in Porto and you are partial to a Pizza then this place is a must, the cost of 2 starters, 4 pizzas, 1 bottle of white wine, 2 glasses of rose and 2 pints of larger was €110 which was very reasonable for the volume and the quality of the food. Once again I must praise the waiting staff as they are really on top of their game and a credit to the establishment.

21/08/2024: We ate here on the day we arrived to Porto. We were starving and wanted to find simething quick and close to our airbnb. Unfortunately they do not have english menus, nor did our waitress speak english but we made do with Google Translate. The food was AMAZING!!! We shared a starter and had 2 separate pizzas. You can ask for 3 sizes on all of the pizzas. The food was made very beautifully, and very fast too. We could barely walk after our meal. I definitely recommend having a meal here

17/08/2024: Tempo de espera para ser atendido superior a 1 hora, serviço péssimo e a qualidade deixa muito a desejar. Não recomendo a ninguém.

03/10/2024: De visita ao Porto, fomos experimentar o local por sabermos de antemão que o chefe é italiano. Pedimos bresaola de entrada, que causou logo boa impressão, e seguimos com as pizzas Michelangelo e Raffaello que, além de bem servidas a nível de toppings, tinham das melhores crostas que já provámos. Terminámos com uma panna cotta de frutos vermelhos e um tiramisù - quem apreciar o sabor intenso a café, vai adorar o tiramisù! Dizer ainda que havia funcionários em formação e ficou claro o rigor e perfeccionismo do chefe no que toca ao proporcionar o melhor serviço possível ao cliente. Notámos também a atenção aos momentos-chave para começar a preparação de cada produto e para fazer o levantamento da mesa. Não só voltaremos como recomendamos a quem não conhece que experimente!

25/08/2024: Ristorante italiano davvero notevole. Location poco oltre la sufficienza ma vero cibo italiano. Pizza oltre la media ma soprattutto una buona pasta (Rummo). Non e' un locale per turisti ma e' sempre pieno di avventori locali. Davvero piccolo (si allargherà presto), consigliabile prenotare. Se siete a Porto e siete in astinenza di carboidrati il locale perfetto. Camerieri davvero svegli, complimenti allo chef (italiano).

09/10/2024: The food was very good . The service was suspect. We sat for 20-25 without much attention. We ordered appetizers and then 20 minutes later ordered mains. Eventually after ordering dessert we were asked to leave in order to turn the table. Be aware they will ask you to leave whether you are finished. A very poor ending to an otherwise enjoyable meal.

05/10/2024: The management was very obliging getting us a reservation as we were getting into town. Stephan was an absolute delight! Welcoming and informative about the portion sizes. We had a bruschetta board that was quite thoughtful on a build up of flavors and textures. A salad that was a great size to share . I had tortellini with broccoli rabe with was perfectly balanced and my husband had the lasagne that was a large portion and delicious. We finished with tiramisu and pan a cotta- that had a perfect texture . We were very impressed and made a reservation for tomorrow ! Definitely make a reservation - you can thank me later !!!!

13/11/2024: Great place for pizza! Plenty of choice and the pizza was ready in just a couple of minutes. Be sure to make a reservation, though.

25/09/2024: Este sitio es fenomenal!!! Muy recomendable calidad precio eficiencia y rapidez y un gran servicio el personal increíble y atento, lo recomiendo muchísimo!!

22/09/2024: Richtig gute Pizzas werden hier angeboten und das zu sehr fairen Preisen. Nette Bedienung und sehr schneller Service.

28/10/2024: One cannot complain about the excellent friendly. service. All of the staff were as friendly as they could be and they did a good job. My pizza was excellent, full of fresh tasty ingredients. Affordable wine list. A great pizza dinner.

27/09/2024: Pizza is not "Italian Nonnas"!! Greasy , oily & definately not Italian- do not let Nonnas title fool you, as it did us !! Would never return.

04/11/2024: A primeira vez que lá fui nao gostei, agora decidi dar nova oportunidade e escolher pratos diferentes. Da outra vez o risotto estava muito mau, mas desta vez a comida estava ok. O staff é atencioso, e o ambiente no exterior à hora que fui é bem calminho e agradável. No interior nao se pode estar, é terrivelmente quente.

01/11/2024: Nous sommes des habitués . Cuisine parfaite . Le patron est sympa ,le personnel est parfait .Même si nous n avons pas réservé ils arrivent toujours à nous trouver une table .

04/04/2024: A melhor carbonara que já provei, a massa é 100% caseira, o pessoal é super atencioso e simpático. A princípio o lugar parece pequeno, mas lá em cima tem mais mesas. Recomendo o lugar 100%.

29/03/2024: Para comer bem italiano🇮🇹, o melhor lugar de Portugal. Excelente serviço, um lugar pequeno, mas cheio de boas vibrações.

29/09/2024: Incredible family run hole-in-the-wall Cafe. The service and the food was top notch and the prices were Rock bottom. It doesn't get any better than that. I had the kabob pita and a glass of beer. It filled me up and it was 6 Euro.

06/09/2024: Pão pita com baixa fermentação, feito na casa e assado na mesma hora. Já vou ao Holi Caffé a 6 anos e é sempre muito difícil comer algo diferente do kebab no pão pita, pois é mesmo muito bom. Melhor Kebab do Porto!

28/03/2024: Comida muito boa, funcionários muito simpáticos principalmente a senhora do Brasil. Melhor almoço de aniversário de todos os tempos. Voltaremos se voltarmos ao Porto.

08/10/2024: I chose this spot as it had great trip advisor reviews and I was looking for something tasty. I went for a walk in spot pretty much as soon as it opened for dinner and was seated straight away. Within 30 minutes people were being turned away, so I was lucky to get in when I did! The atmosphere was very calming and welcoming as were the staff, the young welcomer kept calling me 'lady' which I thought was very humbling and kind. I was looking specifically for good Bacalhau with a good glass of wine and this definitely delivered on both of them. First time I've had cod with Prosciutto and it's going to be on my to do list when next cooking at home. For dessert I had creme brûlée, equally delicious. Definitely worth a visit, but do pre-book!

07/10/2024: My daughter, who loves gnocchi, said it was the best she has ever tasted. The service was excellent. I am so glad we had reservations. We enjoyed our evening immensly.

27/09/2024: Ao fim de tantos anos continua a ser a melhor Pizzeria do Porto. Desde as entradas as sobremesas não existe melhor relação Preço/Qualidade. A experimentar obrigatoriamente!

15/08/2024: Found by a Googly search and didn't disappoint! Simple menu, food made with love and care. All tasted very fresh. 4th floor and away from the masses with a chilled vibe. Good selection of drinks, dog friendly and staff were 110% on it.
