17/09/2024: People are very friendly. Pizza was very moist and soggy, didn't like it at all. Spaghetti bolognese was good but I would call it spaghetti al ragu because there were no vegetables.

16/09/2024: Italiaans restaurant zonder Italianen. Als je Aziaten aan een pizzaoven zet krijg je alles behalve pizza uiteraard. Echt geen aanrader en toch net iets prijziger dan andere restaurants in de buurt.

21/09/2024: Locale carino, il personale italiano è molto disponibile e accogliente. Ottima cucina italiana, abbiamo mangiato pasta zola e noci (superba) e pacchetti allo scoglio davvero deliziosi, e per finire un fantastico tiramisù! Super consigliato!!!

04/04/2024: Entramos e ficamos impressionados com o quão autênticas e frescas eram as pizzas! Ótima hospitalidade onde o proprietário fez as pizzas sob medida com nossos recheios preferidos. É um pequeno restaurante em uma parte movimentada da cidade, mas vale a pena visitar a comida, o ambiente e o serviço. Altamente recomendado!

05/10/2024: Ordered the supposed oven baked salmon which was shown as a piece of fillet on the photo on menu This was to be served with sauteed vegetables and pea risotto What arrived was a very bland looking cutlet of salmon, boiled carrot and broccoli with cheese drenched white risotto which had a few peas in it. When I mentioned this to the water was told we no longer serve the fillet and “fish was grilled in the oven” No attempt to resolve by a manager, we were charged full price, reputational risk was shrugged off as we paid the bill before even being offered dessert or coffee First and last time for sure!

11/07/2024: Ma 1ere expérience il y a quelques mois pas concluante du tout. Un loupé peut arriver, j'y suis retourné en Juillet, si j'avais oubliée pourquoi je n'y retournais plus, maintenant je sais !! Au bout de 15mn je suis allez déranger les serveur qui discutait entre eux, leurs demandant de bien vouloir prendre ma commande, ont ma répondu sèchement de m'autoriser de bien vouloir me laisser la prendre à table !!! La bonne blague. Ce fut fait, une 1/2 heures après ne voyant rien venir j'ai demandé à la serveuse qui passait où en était la commande, après renseignement un serveur qui semblait être un responsable nous à répondu qu'il y avait eu un problème avec notre commande, enfin environ 1h après nous avons été servies. Conclusion. . . Plus jamais !!

14/09/2024: Após esperar um bom bocado por ser atendido o funcionário finalmente decidiu ir a minha mesa onde fui recebido com arrogancia, falta de empatia como de profissionalismo que me deixou a pensar se la devo voltar, não acredito que todos os funcionários sejam como este grutesco mas que por um pagam todos, espero que tomem as devidas medidas pois compromete o ambiente do café

13/05/2024: Horrível atendimento..... Moro na Galé e não tenho nada de positivo a dizer sobre este café, empregados antipáticos, serviço péssimo.

02/11/2024: Pizzolino en Lagos, Portugal, es un lugar fantástico para cenar informalmente, deliciosa pizza y una experiencia cálida y acogedora. La comida es excepcionalmente sabrosa, con cada bocado mostrando sabores auténticos. El ambiente es acogedor y acogedor, por lo que es un gran lugar para relajarse. El personal es excepcional - amable, atento, cálido y sonriente. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que quiera una gran pizza en un entorno encantador!

29/08/2024: Gran lugar. Fui aquí después de pasar varias veces. No será el último. Personal fabuloso. ¡Pizza increíble! La factura nos impactó a los dos. Muy muy barato. Por favor vaya si visita Lagos.

04/09/2024: An authentic Italian gem in the middle of the commercial street in Portimao. Wonderful food. Friendly and efficient team attending to all our gastronomic needs. Highly recommended.

14/08/2024: Alors qu’il fermé le restaurant à 14h30 nous sommes arrivés à 9 pour manger Ils ont réouvert Nous avons été très bien reçu avec une qualité de service au top 👌

04/04/2024: Fomos convidados no Alecrim com duas famílias de Munique por uma noite e ficamos emocionados. Um lugar muito simpático que oferece um serviço excelente e comida requintada e acessível, um pouco fora da culinária tradicional. Gostámos do ambiente animado do bem recheado Alecrim, a música ambiente era agradável, a equipa colorida estava perfeitamente organizada e tudo estava na medida certa, do aperitivo ao expresso. Recomendamos o (enorme!) prato de camarão e a pizza com rúcula e presunto de Parma, mas as entradas e saladas também devem ser experimentadas! Há também uma seleção de pratos veganos e vegetarianos. Como sobremesa, gostamos especialmente do gelado caseiro. Um grande elogio e obrigado a toda equipe, com certeza voltaremos!

30/09/2024: Went due to good reviews but cannot believe anyone who has eaten in an authentic Italian restaurant could rate it. Ordered salad starters which were nothing special, could of put it together at home. Tuna was out of a tin unlike a restaurant a few nights earlier which was fresh. Had to ask for oil and vinegar which they seemed surprised we did and eventually came back with sachets. Ordered spaghetti bolognese and gnocchi for mains. Arrived with no offer of more cutlery so we helped ourselves from another table. Spaghetti bolognese was literally mince and pasta, no sign of a tomato sauce on it and tasted bland, no offer of parmesan. Gnocchi was so hot could not eat it for quite a while, not sure if been nuked in a microwave and very salty, not freshly made authentic in anyway. No offer of more drinks, had to ask, staff seemed more interested in chatting in the door and their job only to put food on table and clear it away. Sat for ages after with food and drinks finished while staff still chatted so assumed no offer of dessert or coffee. Had to ask for bill or we would probably be still waiting. Certainly no limoncello with the bill as stated by other reviews. My husband had to rush to the toilet on route home and I felt sick all night, not what we needed on our last night! Eaten in many Italian restaurants around the world but cannot understand this could be rated so highly by people as it was bad in every way apart from the drinks. Avoid there must be so much better.

29/09/2024: Very poor service . Salad starter, no oil and vinegar, supposed to be an Itallian Restaurant. Gnocchi and good old spaghetti bol for mains. Smallish portion of spaghetti bolognese and the gnocchi although a decent portion was too hot to eat for at least 10 mins. Finished our mains more than ten minutes ago and no contact from the serving staff as yet. Stood in the doorway too busy chatting away to each other. Shocking. Won't be back. 20 mins since we finished our food and drink, no offer of desserts or coffees so we got the bill and paid up .....wrong tables served with wrong dishes too. No one seemed to be in charge so they all just standing around chatting. On the whole pretty poor, there are loads more restaurants in Alvor that give top service. If I were you I'd give this place a wide berth and spend your money where they appreciate your custom. One for you Gordon Ramsey.

09/10/2024: I recently dined at Al Fresco and had a fantastic experience! The Red Fruit Smoothie was refreshing and perfectly blended, setting the tone for the meal. The Pizza Quattro Stagioni was delightful, with a great balance of flavors and a perfectly crispy crust. To top it all off, the chocolate cake was simply divine—rich and indulgent. I highly recommend Al Fresco for a wonderful dining experience!

04/10/2024: Amazing pasta/gnocci. The waiter was very friendly. They often came to check if everything was okay. Good price/quality.

07/11/2024: I would have given this restaurant higher than 5 if possible. Very small Italian family restaurant with a charming decor and very good staff. My wife had a gluten free pasta dish and I had one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Pizza perfection. I highly recommend.

12/09/2024: This place is excellent. The staff Nicole, Pedro, Tiago and Ana are all fabulous. From the restaurant you can see the kitchen staff working hard. The front of house staff are professional and attentive. The food is really good, we enjoyed Pizza, Pasta, house wine and beer. would totally recommend going here. `The restaurant was full when we first tried to eat there. we booked for next night, enjoyed it so much we booked again before we left. great place
