26/10/2024: Of all the restaurants we ate in after spending a week in Nazare, this was my favorite! Great food, great value (10 euro bottle of Douro Valley wine), great service. Seafood is their specialty; fish stews seemed a popular favorite. Our grilled bream and steak were delicious—and the salad was not an afterthought! Highly recommend.

11/10/2024: Tolles Restaurant. Sehr nette Kellner Unterhaltung erfolgt in einem Gemisch aus portugiesisch-spanisch-englisch. Essen war sehr gut, der Hauswein von guter Qualität und sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung absolut OK

23/10/2024: Belle déco au milieu des rues de Nazaré. Accueil très agréable et sympathique. Repas excellent en toute simplicité avec de très belles portions. Également les desserts à tomber. Et le digestif pour clore à merveille ce très bon moment. Merci à toute l'équipe

19/10/2024: De longe foi o melhor restaurante da viagem que fiz com a minha namorada. O Sr Carlos foi uma pessoa sempre muito caridosa com toda a gente e ofereceu nós um moscatel enquanto esperávamos na rua para que a mesa estivesse livre. O tempo de espera demorou um pouco mais que o previsto e o Sr. Carlos ofereceu nos uma taça com mexilhões com um molho de tomate incrível. A comida estava ótima e fresca, no final do jantar fizemos questão de querer brindar com o Sr Carlos um copo do vinho do Porto e o mesmo disse que sim sem pensar duas vezes. Posso não ser da Nazaré nem de perto, mas vamos voltar para repetir a experiência.

11/10/2024: Experiência 5 estrelas do início ao fim. Atendimento irrepreensível, simpático e atencioso, comida confeccionada na perfeição (escolhemos os chocos e a espetada), com direito a oferta de um aperitivo antes e um digestivo depois. Super recomendo!

15/09/2024: Great experience at Mar Bravo, Dino our waiter was attentive and gave us good recommendations. Excellent weather to seat outside around 5pm. We ordered octopus salad, big shrimp in garlic, shrimp risotto, cataplana de pescados y mariscos, trilogía de lagareiros, mousse de chocolate, cheesecake con fritos silvestres. And of course a bottle of Mateus Rose 🇵🇹 Totally recommended this place Cheers

13/09/2024: We had a wonderful lunch. Everything we tried was delicious. And our waiter Dino gave us very good recommendations. A must stop after a day walking and sightseeing in Nazare. Our big meal Lunch/dinner at their outdoor seating with good weather. We had the octopus salad, big shrimp in garlic, shrimp risotto, cataplana de pescados y mariscos, trilogía de lagareiros, mousse de chocolate, cheesecake con fritos silvestres. And of course a bottle of Mateus Rose 🇵🇹

24/09/2024: Le calamar était bien trop grillé, on a eu l'impression de manger du caoutchouc. De plus les prix étaient chers pour les portions en particulier pour les entrées. Un restaurant décevante, attrape-touriste.

06/09/2024: Las tres bes de Nazare Buen trato Buena comida Barato Es un lugar donde los platos que te sirven son abundantes y muy bien cocinados. Trato excelente. Precios baratos. Muy recomendable además aunque haya muchas mesas ocupadas tardan poco en acomodarse. Todo un descubrimiento.

30/09/2024: Marisco excelente! Há muito tempo que não nos soube tão bem nalgum restaurante. Molhos bem temperados, relação qualidade/quantidade/preço boa, atendimento por todo o pessoal muito simpático e prestável. É o nosso cantinho preferido para comer marisco... Única pequena critica: o tamanho do tampo dos banquinhos está previsto para pessoas muito magras :)

21/09/2024: Sehr nettes lokales Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen und sehr nettem Personal. Ausgezeichneter Fisch und Meeresfrüchte. Sehr gute Preise. Wir sind gleich mehrmals dort gewesen.

01/09/2024: Visitei este restaurante há algum tempo e foi uma ótima surpresa. Hoje, pelos lados da Nazaré, decidimos repetir. Foi uma decepção. A comida não impressionou e o atendimento tinha piorado bastante. O arroz de marisco só sabia a molho de tomate. O bife da vazia grelhado não sabia muito bem. Muito mau para o valor, extremamente caro.

17/08/2024: Totalmente recomendable. Calidad y servicio excepcional. Repetimos tres veces y nunca nos defraudó. Hay que ir con tiempo porque no hace reservas y está muy concurrido. Veníamos de Galicia y no hay color en calidad del marisco, precio y servicio.

19/10/2024: Atenção quando pedirem arroz de marisco, arroz que ja estava feito, juntou se um molho que so sabia a polpa de tomate e caldo knorr, da sapateira so 2 patas traseiras e 4 camarões, com uma suposta lagosta.

17/10/2024: Friendly engaging Staff, pleasant decor & comfortable atmosphere located in the alley ways of Nazare. Very Reasonable prices for Nazare and good food. The fish soup was spot on as was the Pork & Clams!

22/09/2024: Very excellent food and friendly service. It’s away from the ocean so they have to compete on quality and they did! Whatever was in the sauce my shrimp was in should be bottled and sold. The indoor area looked very nice but I sat outside - again you’re away from the beach but in a cozy little alley and can still feel the ocean breeze coming down. Definitely recommend

13/10/2024: We were so excited to try this place. Having eaten nothing but excellent food through the rest of our trip, and having read great reviews of this restaurant, we were ready for a great night. Unfortunately, it was disappointing from the get go. We turned up on time for our reservation and we're seated promptly. A server brought over a plate of slices, pate, cheese and butter, along with some bread. It was all exceptionally good. We weren't given a wine list with our menus and sat for about 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our orders. The server didnt greet us at all, just asked "ready?" At this point we asked for the wine list, which he brought over and then disappeared for another 10 minutes. We finally placed both food and wi e orders. Wine was excellent and thr appetizers were great, especially the cuttlefish croquettes. I had ordered the cod with cream, which was quite good - though we had a far superior version earlier in our trip at a little hole in the wall in Aveiro. Unfortunately, my friend's meal was inedible. She ordered the lobster and octopus rolls, which came out in dry hot dog buns, drenched in mayo and ice cold. Our server didn't check in for about 15 minutes, even when we tried to get his attention. We let him know the food was inedible and she asked to switch it out. There was no apology, but he eventually brought out the new dish, quite rudely. When the bill came, the rolls were included in the tally. We asked for it to be removed and he refused. He said since she had taken a bite (literally a single bite), we had to pay for it. He said it wasn't his problem if we didn't like the food. When we pushed back, he threatened to call the police on us. He came back several times, refused to ask a manager to come over and was essentially shouting at us. We persisted and eventually he took thr item off the bill. He refused to speak to us any futher and we left. It was embaressing and an awful end to our time in nazare. In short, wanted to love it and some items were good. But the service was so awful we just can't recommend it. There's much, much better in town.

22/09/2024: Uno dei migliori ristoranti della zona con proposte della cucina tradizionale portoghese. Ottimi i piatti, principalmente di pesce, con abbondanti porzioni. Consiglio in particolare la cataplana (una delle migliori mangiate in Portogallo). Carta dei vini limitata ma con buone proposte locali. Servizio nella norma. Non propriamente economico ma ne vale comunque la pena.

22/10/2024: The most awful over salted sardines ever. Disgusting is polite. Also we reserved and had to wait sometime to be seated. People behind came in and were seated almost immediately.

10/10/2024: Alors effectivement, on peut passer à côté sans voir qu'il y a un restaurant : pas d'enseigne et stores baissés pour éviter la surchauffe sous la véranda. On est passés vers 13:30 et on a réservé pour 14:15. Ma femme a adoré ses sardines, même si on est en hors saison ; et mon copieux Arroz de Polvo était également très bon. On est bien au Portugal 😋. Très belle carte de vins également, même si mon Bella était en dessous de mes attentes. Ajoutez-y une jeune serveuse brésilienne au sourire avenant, et vous êtes au paradis.
