05/10/2024: Muito bom o nosso jantar,estava tudo na perfeição,sabores da cozinha tradicional portuguesa 5* Quanto ao atendimento não ficou atrás devido ao cuidado do sr Zezé e do sr Cristiano É restaurante a voltar

04/10/2024: No one was here, but we arrived at 5:30pm😉 We were received warmly, had a beautiful table for 2, ordered the fresh bread and garlic dip, amazing!!!! We ordered our entree/ seared tuna, prepared to perfection with a wonderful salad. Service was superb as was our meal. After dining, of course the place was filling up. We felt special being there early, however I imagine any time you arrive you will be well received! Great dinner, I would highly recommend this place:)

15/10/2024: My wife and I arrived hungry from our long travel and went to this restaurant because it was downstairs from our apartment. Much to our surprise we thoroughly enjoyed our tasty fish sandwiches.

09/09/2024: Excellent food, service, friendly staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We were put at ease straight away. Recommend!

21/11/2024: We stroll by on a Tuesday night and made reservations for Wednesday night. The place is very small so you do need reservations if you have a specific time that you would like to have the meal. I had heard rumors that this place was amazing. We love Portugal and have loved being in Lagos. So I was really excited to see what an amazing meal would be like. I ordered a simple prawns with clams in a sauce. That’s all I knew. This was the best meal I’ve had ever in Portugal! And I have been to Portugal about 10 times and had some amazing food. The sauce… I cannot describe it… It was velvety. It wasn’t heavy but it was so perfect and balanced. It was screaming to add the rice to it to soak it up so you could just keep eating it. I left some on my plate and I still dreaming about it. We were so happy! We’re going back for last night on Friday!

20/11/2024: Hatten eine Cataplana, sehr gut und preislich ok. Die Menge.....der nackte Wahnsinn, wer hier hungrig raus geht, da weiß ich auch nicht wieso. Nette junge Besitzer. Bitte unbedingt reservieren. So unscheinbar das Restaurant ist, in einer Seitenstraße liegt, der Gästeandrang ist enorm

16/12/2024: Top gegeten en prijs kwaliteit is super. Mooie gesorteerde menukaart. Vriendelijke bediening. We komen zeker terug.

23/11/2024: Wir waren zum Abendessen in dem Lokal, und hatten Muscheln Marine und Thunfisch Tataki gegessen. Die Bedienung war sehr gut und das Essen war hervorragend. Wir haben selten so frische und gute Micheln irgendwo bekommen.

24/09/2024: Se trata de un restaurante tradicional portugués que sirve comida tradicional. Es mi primera visita y la de mi esposa es 2a (o 3a) , así que insistió en que la visitáramos alegando que es muy buena. Tenemos gustos diferentes. No me sorprendió la comida, pero me inspiraré en el entrante de queso caliente. Estuvo bien. Me gustaría conseguir algunas de esas ollas de loza para probar esto en casa Será tan fácil de hacer. El plato fuerte que tuve, por otro lado, fue una verdadera decepción y me mostró por qué puedo despreciar tanto la comida portuguesa. Tenía jabalíes en una olla. Un guiso cocinado a fuego lento, que esperaba que replicara un plato fantástico que una vez tuve en el Alentejo hace unos años. Tristemente, fue terrible. Por alguna extraña razón, el chef decidió que la menta fresca era una gran adición a este plato. No lo fue y mató el plato. La salsa estaba húmeda y abrumadora con esta hierba. Nada como lo que esperaba. Esto es típico de las inconsistencias de la cocina casera portuguesa en lugares como este. Tengo un paladar exigente. Descendiente francés y cocinero entusiasta. No puedo hablar en nombre de mi esposa, pero hay mejores lugares para visitar que aquí y me sorprendió las grandes críticas que este lugar tuvo. La comida es subjetiva, supongo.

08/09/2024: Super restaurant typique portugais , avec une cuisson parfaite que ce soit le poisson ou la viande . Vraiment un top restaurant à conseiller. Un plus pour le service et l'accueil

27/10/2024: Si buscas un ambiente gastronómico atractivo, busca en otro lugar. La iluminación brillante y dura es más apropiada para una suite quirúrgica que para un restaurante. Si solo quieres una comida decente y llena este lugar llena la cuenta. La comida era adecuada, si no inspirado. Los postres fueron variados y excelentes. El servicio era adecuado.

26/10/2024: Gentilezza e cortesia di tutto il personale. Il ragazzo al tavolo gentilissimo econ ottimi consigli Cibo buono e cucinato a puntino dallo chef che è di.una simpatia unica. Per farci assaggiare due dolci di cui uno era la "molotov" ci ha portato due porzioni stragiganti....ma come da suo suggerimento si scioglievano in bocca!!! Verissimo!!! E ce li siamo divorati!!! Quando la semplicita diventa l arma con cui si vince!!! Ottimo buonissimo grazie grazie ci ritorneremo!!!

19/10/2024: Wir waren vor vier Tagen dort und werden das Gefühl nicht los, das der Inhaber gewechselt hat. Kritik ist nicht gewünscht. Das Gaspacho mit Burrata war bestückt mit einem eher billigen Mozzarella anstelle der Burrata. Beim Nachtisch „Spongecake“ was eigentlich ein Bisquit ist, handelte es sich um eine Creme/Pudding. Der Chefkellner konnte mit dieser Kritik überhaupt nicht umgehen, für ihn sei das genau ein Spongescake, eine erwartete Beratung zum Wein gab es auch nicht. Glas 8 Euro schon heftig zu dem wie wir das Alma Lusa eigentlich kannten. Zu teuer für unprofessionelle Bedienung und Schlechtem Umgang mit Kritik

15/10/2024: Niet in het oude centrum, maar wel helemaal vol. Heerlijk gegeten, goed geholpen bij wijnkeuze. Een gezellige zaak, waar ook veel bewoners komen.

19/11/2024: Old Reputations. Was recommended to go to this restaurant. Don’t bother you will find much better in the Algarve. Over prices and over cooked.

29/09/2024: A barrigada de carne e peixe é divinal, podes repetir quantas vezes quiseres. Preço muito acessível e o espaço muito agradável. Funcionários simpáticos.

10/09/2024: Locale tipico e caratteristico. Propongono all you can eat di pesce a 16,50€; noi invece abbiamo provato la cataplana per due persone: una zuppa di pesce tipica dell'Algarve. Hanno anche varie scelte come dolce, tra i quali quello della casa molto buono. Hanno anche un'ampia scelta di vini. In due per una cataplana per due persone, una bottiglia di vino locale, due dolci, un'acqua da 0,70 e pane abbiamo speso 64 euro. Ci tornerei assolutamente, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente

17/11/2024: Greta atmosphere. The restaurant was full. Casual with great food. Loved it. Seemed to have quite a lot of locals. Definitely worth a visit.

15/10/2024: Portugués al viejo estilo. Grandes sardinas con patatas al ajo hervidas. Preciosas gambas con mantequilla de ajo. Buen servicio, amable. Vino de la casa muy bebible.

05/10/2024: Super leckeres Essen, tolles Team im Service. Egal wie voll das Restaurant ist, jeder Gast wird von der Chefin mit ausgesuchter Freundlichkeit empfangen. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis klasse. Rundum eine tolle Empfehlung.

21/10/2024: If you want good seafood, give this place a visit. The seafood was great and fresh. We were bummed out the goose neck barnacles were out of season but the seafood platter for 2 was delicious!

16/10/2024: Unlike tourist eating places in Central Lagos, this restaurant succeeds purely on the quality of its food. The location is nothing special, and the restaurant itself is modest. But the service is friendly & attentive and - most importantly - the seafood is first class. Don't go there to impress: Go there to enjoy excellent food at reasonable prices.

19/10/2024: Fuimos a cenar por recomendación del hotel, teníamos las expectativas altas y hambre, menuda decepción el bacalao... estaba tieso, duro, incomible!!! Tenia pinta de ser congelado cosa que nos extraña ya que esta el puerto enfrente. El camarero pasó olímpicamente de nosotros, no nos dio ninguna solución, nos sacó la cuenta y a la calle... el emperador y los chipirones estaban buenos pero poca cantidad, nos gastamos 50€ y salimos a pedirnos una pizza en un local cercano porque nos fuimos muertos de hambre. Menuda decepción

10/10/2024: Although the red snapper was tasty, everything else about this meal was disappointing. The vegetables and rice were unseasoned and bland. The other fish we ordered was overcooked. There is no atmosphere at all, which we were willing to overlook if the food was worth it, but it wasn't.

20/09/2024: Visited 3 times on this holiday, just couldn’t stay away! Perfect location, magnificent sea views, extensive menu, nice fish choices, chocolate/ice cream desert to die for. Fiuza Sauvignon Blanc a favourite tipple. Maitre D’/owner lovely friendly guy, busy restaurant, booking essential in season. See you next year!

01/08/2024: The best service and food we had in Luz. Modern yet traditional, beautifully cooked fish and steak. The most lovely picturesque views. Tremendous place.
