01/09/2024: Une superbe expérience culinaire ! Les plats étaient savoureux et authentiques, en particulier la “bacalhau à bras” qui était parfaitement préparée. L’accueil était chaleureux, et l’ambiance du restaurant nous a fait voyager au Portugal. Je recommande vivement ce restaurant à tous les amateurs de cuisine portugaise. Hâte d’y retourner !

30/09/2024: Cuisine locale avec produits ultra frais. Superbe ambiance avec le lounge bar en prolongation du restaurant. Personnel très sympa et à l’écoute. La patronne Tessa assure le service avec toujours le sourire,de plus parle français, portugais et anglais. En cuisine son père Carlos franco portugais assure.

30/09/2024: we had a pizza and the special burger, both were absolutely delicious, I never had a better pizza and him a burger, they were the best we ever had

23/09/2024: Friendly service, our hostess greeted us in our native language Irish. Bon. The garlic prawns were unbelievable and the rest of my party even though fussy eaters were catered for. A must visit when in Cabanas.

02/09/2024: Atendimento simpático! Arroz de marisco de muito boa qualidade, no ponto e em quantidade apropriada. O sítio é muito bem localizado.

31/08/2024: So enjoyable. Came here due to the large prawn on display in the fridge! Oh my goodness it didn’t disappoint. Had rice salad and chips also as well as Swordfish between us. Service excellent as was food and price. Thank you so much.

03/08/2024: El servicio era rápido, precio ott, la comida era muy deficiente, kebab mal cocinado y el pollo Simplemente parecían tirados juntos, pero la trituradora estaba al final de la comida CARA Me dijeron dinero en efectivo solo y que me dirigiera al cajero automático RIP OFF al otro lado de la carretera. Terminó con aún más dinero, ya que la tasa de conversación también era una trampa para los turistas. Mi consejo... ALEJARSE

09/05/2024: Estávamos em Tavira a ver restaurantes para almoçar , encontramos este que parecia agradável . Para começar perguntamos se tinham lulas e se eram frescas , o empregado levou bastante a mal a pergunta e foi muito rude onde disse que nada dos produtos eram frescos que ninguém vendia produtos frescos , que se comprava fresco mas já tinha sido congelado pelas pessoas do mercado . Pedimos uma carne de porco a alentejana , carne muito seca e sem sabor e as emeijoas são intragáveis , daquelas vietnamitas . Pedimos também uma dourada que parecia já estar congelada a dias . Não recomendo este sítio

09/06/2024: We came across Tasca do Rato while having a stroll along the river. It's at the end of a line of restaurants and was the only one with several tables occupied. We sat outside and soon after it was full inside and out with both locals and tourists. The waitress was very friendly and, rather than try and explain/translate what the special of the day was, she invited him to view it in the kitchen area. He chose to have it (a fish stew type dish) and I ordered tuna. Both were really tasty. The daily specials were clearly popular and at only 9 Euros, it was easy to see why. The drinks were a good price too. We enjoyed it so much that we returned later in the week! My husband had the special of the day, which was liver. (There was also a fish based special). I had the tuna again. Both were really nice.
