04/10/2024: No one was here, but we arrived at 5:30pm😉 We were received warmly, had a beautiful table for 2, ordered the fresh bread and garlic dip, amazing!!!! We ordered our entree/ seared tuna, prepared to perfection with a wonderful salad. Service was superb as was our meal. After dining, of course the place was filling up. We felt special being there early, however I imagine any time you arrive you will be well received! Great dinner, I would highly recommend this place:)

29/11/2024: Excellent value for money. Not recommended for weight reduction. Highly recommended if you wanted to enjoy your life -- as I did.

26/11/2024: Tiene terraza exterior cubierta. Interior pequeño pero acogedor. Servicio agradable. No hay carta. Va trayendo pescado a la parrilla hasta que no quieras más. Puedes repetir las veces que quieras. El pescado es de buena calidad y está bien cocinado. El rodicio cuesta 16€ e incluye aperitivos, ensalada de tomate, patatas y un guiso típico. Bebida aparte Resumen Ambiente (4/5), comida (5/5), servicio (4/5), calidad precio(5/5)

22/11/2024: Versere vis kan niet. Belachelijk lekker! Tel hier een zonnetje en gezellig personeel bij op en je hebt de beste lunch die je je kunt wensen.

20/11/2024: Best fisk restaurent in Portugal. It is our 2 visit at the restaurent . The fisk are so fresh, and you choose you own fish. The staff is very friendly.

19/10/2024: What an amazing place to eat. Went twice on our 5 day stay in Albufeira. The food was amazing and traditional Portuguese. The cod fish cakes were tasty, the seafood platter amazing with the prawns being the star of the show and the francesinha was off the hook amazing. The owner Ines is so nice and takes the time to talk with everyone and has so much passion for the food. The server Luan also takes the time to chat and gives a great service. Will is also very friendly and its nice to see a couple of youngsters work hard and take the time to chat. The overall enjoyment and pride of everyone here makes it a must visit in Albufeira.

16/11/2024: Met een grotere groep hier neer gestreken ( 9 pers) vooraf het voor- en hoofdgerecht bepaald ( zowel vis als vlees) alles to share, dit om de snelheid er in te houden. Alle gerechten waren smakelijk en rijkelijk en ook de wijnen waren top. Het personeel was uitstekend en wij werden als groep volledig in de watten gelegd. Dus zeker een aanrader.

23/10/2024: Kan varmt rekommendera denna restaurang med svensk talande ägare. Många rätter att välja mellan,så det passar nog alla.

15/11/2024: Visitados en una fiesta de 16 , vamos cada año cuando estamos allí de vacaciones. La decoración es un poco básica, pero lo sabemos. El pescado era como siempre perfecto y lo hacen tan bien para manejar un grupo tan grande que tiene la comida en la mesa al mismo tiempo. Vino sólido. Bill es tendencia un poco más grande cada año, lo que no es específico de este lugar, pero sigue siendo un gran valor y el servicio siempre es con una sonrisa. Disfrutamos de nuestra noche y volveremos.

13/10/2024: Pasó a tomar unos cócteles una tarde y decidió ir al restaurante después. Pedí salmón y mi marido tenía la lubina. El servicio era muy bueno y la camarera era muy amable. La comida estaba bien presentada y absolutamente delicioso. Volveremos a visitar en nuestro próximo viaje a Portugal.

17/10/2024: Bords do Cais liegt am Hafen, man sitzt schön am Hafen und kann seinen Fisch an der Theke aussuchen. Sicher bekommt man das Essen in. Portugal auch günstiger, aber die Lage ist schön. Die Kellner sind freundlich und alles stimmt.

13/10/2024: Ist absolut sein Geld wert. Sehr leckeres Essen und schöne Weine bei sehr freundlichem Service. Eine absolut Empfehlung.

15/10/2024: My wife and I arrived hungry from our long travel and went to this restaurant because it was downstairs from our apartment. Much to our surprise we thoroughly enjoyed our tasty fish sandwiches.

16/11/2024: Un encantador restaurante familiar especializado en cocina portuguesa. Muy popular entre los lugareños. Buena selección de mariscos frescos disponibles. Cuidado con los especiales. Tomé un estofado de pulpo que fue increíble. Situado a un par de calles de la parte delantera, pero sin duda vale la pena buscar.

03/11/2024: La cuisine était très bonne, et variée le choix des desserts aussi. Il y en avait pour tout les goûts et tous les budgets. Très bonne ambiance

01/12/2024: Lovely venue with fresh prepared fish excellent service. Served with a well chilled bottle of white. Salad as a starter, sea bass and octopus on the grill as a main. We will be back on our next visit.

02/11/2024: Pedi um robalo grelhado… simplesmente delicioso… o molho de azeite com salsa e alho da um gosto todo especial. O staff super atencioso… recomendo

17/10/2024: What a friendly restaurant this is and a very pleasing and relaxing place to enjoy a great meal. We had traditional prawn cocktail starters, followed by two varieties of steak on offer. All the dishes looked good, tasted superb and were very filling. No room for sweet sadly. The service was great, the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. All in all this was a very enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant was full both inside and out. We were there when the restauarant opened and managed to bag the last available table later on at 19.30. Unless you want to eat early I think that booking is recommended. Sadly this was our last evening meal of our holiday but we will definitely be back to Jota Lita on out next trip. Very definitely one not to miss. Highly recommended.

27/11/2024: Pedimos el ARROZ DE MARISCO (arroz de marisco) y el CARIL DE GAMBAS C/ ANANÁS (curry de camarón con piña y arroz basmati). Ambos platos fueron increíbles y una explosión de sabor.

20/10/2024: Leider überbewertet. Ich denke es ist zu sehr auf Touristen ausgelegt.das Essen war gut aber für die kleinen Portionenzu teuer.

06/10/2024: Wir waren insgesamt an drei Tagen dort essen. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal, dass den Gast eine echte Gastfreundschaft spüren lässt. Eine gute bzw. große Auswahl an wohlschmeckenden lokalen Gerichten. Für portugiesische Verhältnisse nicht günstig, aber das Essen und der Service ist es wert!

21/11/2024: We stroll by on a Tuesday night and made reservations for Wednesday night. The place is very small so you do need reservations if you have a specific time that you would like to have the meal. I had heard rumors that this place was amazing. We love Portugal and have loved being in Lagos. So I was really excited to see what an amazing meal would be like. I ordered a simple prawns with clams in a sauce. That’s all I knew. This was the best meal I’ve had ever in Portugal! And I have been to Portugal about 10 times and had some amazing food. The sauce… I cannot describe it… It was velvety. It wasn’t heavy but it was so perfect and balanced. It was screaming to add the rice to it to soak it up so you could just keep eating it. I left some on my plate and I still dreaming about it. We were so happy! We’re going back for last night on Friday!

20/11/2024: Hatten eine Cataplana, sehr gut und preislich ok. Die Menge.....der nackte Wahnsinn, wer hier hungrig raus geht, da weiß ich auch nicht wieso. Nette junge Besitzer. Bitte unbedingt reservieren. So unscheinbar das Restaurant ist, in einer Seitenstraße liegt, der Gästeandrang ist enorm

17/11/2024: Que surpresa maravilhosa. Descobrimos este restaurante em cima da hora, pois a nossa primeira escolha estava encerrada, e ainda bem que assim foi, caso contrário não iríamos conhecer esta pequena maravilha. Restaurante pequeno e que por fora não demostra os segredos lá guardados. Aconselho reserva dadas as dimensões do restaurante. Comemos uma feijoada de polvo e cataplana de peixe e marisco, ambas maravilhosas, cheias de sabor. Comida de conforto, que nos faz parecer estar em casa. Provamos o xerem que era divinal e o pudim de ovos muito bom. A Sra que nos serviu, que acreditamos ser a dona, muito simpática e disponível. Voltaremos certamente.

14/11/2024: Ein absolutes Must für Liebhaber der Fischeintöpfe und frischem Fisch. Unbedingt reservieren. Cataplana mit Fisch und Meeresfrüchte versuchen, himmlisch gut. Preise korrekt.
