30/08/2024: Ristorante con una splendida terrazza che si affaccia sulla spiaggia. Molto informale. Cibo davvero ottimo, sia di pesce che di carne. Rapporto q/p OK! Servizio attento. Assolutamente consigliato

27/08/2024: AVOID AVOID AVOID.. had traditional bread to start was stale and clearly not fresh.. the main was supposed to be chicken on a skewer cooked on hot stone..it was fried and just really bad. I’ve had better chicken from a takeaway back home.

10/09/2024: Cliente há vários anos sempre que vou até ao Algarve. Funcionários e gerência super atenciosos e simpáticos. No Verão nem sempre é fácil arranjar mesa mas vale a pena a insistência. A comida é maravilhosa, marisco e peixe fresco, com muita qualidade e muito bem confecionados. Os camarões da costa, a sapateira, o arroz de lavagante, massada de peixe, arroz de tamboril, peixe grelhado, é tudo delicioso, até as torradas. Parabéns pela cozinha e pelo atendimento!

28/10/2024: Our group wandered out without any reservations (something I always find dicey but also has turned out to reveal great accidental finds). This was the case on this day. We were looking around in a busy area of town and this place had a terrace on the corner and seemed busy (as was the corner). The staff did not speak English well but between a few English words they knew and a few Spanish words that I knew and they understood we got by just fine. The food was good and rather typical Portuguese cuisine. Hands down the best octopus salad we've had. The mussels were excellent. The Caesar is gigantic. It was a nice experience all the way around.

29/10/2024: Today I was not charged the correct amount on my lunch I requested to Pay in euros & realized in USD When I brought to attention of server he insisted I was charged in euros I was not Therefore meal was more expensive He did not want to be bothered & others were waiting so imo ed on Also the bread was stale and cost 1.30 & they charge 1.20 each for a small butter I would not recommend visiting this restaurant A tip off

19/08/2024: Davvero, non entro nei particolari, perché sarebbe lungo farlo, ma evitate . Noi ci siamo andati dietro consiglio casuale di un autista di pullman di Milano. Lasciate perdere qualunque altro locale è meglio.

20/08/2024: Fomos hoje almoçar em família ao veleiro , pedimos caldeirada mas apanhamos uma decepção ! O molho de tomate da caldeirada não tinha sabor e os produtos não eram frescos , o tomate era de lata e tinha muito azeite ! Quando se paga 42€ pela caldeirada no mínimo deve ser feita com produtos frescos !!!!! Não merece os dinheiro que se paga nem a fama que tem !

18/09/2024: Quando falamos de boa restauração, temos que referir o R3 na Praia da Vitória na ilha Terceira. Excelente confecção! Staff de uma simpatia e profissionalismo irrepreensível! E a melhor relação qualidade/preço possível. Vir à Praia da Vitória e não passar pelo R3 é no mínimo imperdoável. Parabéns R3!

01/10/2024: Difficile de comprendre les commentaires précédents..! Salade de poulpe à vomir, poulpe très mauvais servi avec un bain d’huile. suivi de fruits de mer plus que salé, tout est très salé sûrement pour donner du goûts aux fruits de mer sans goûts ! Heureusement le poisson grillé est passable avec ses 1000 arrêtes… Repas le plus cher en une semaine à Lisbonne et le MOINS BON de très loin !

18/10/2024: Six of us spent the evening enjoying wonderful variety of seafood last evening at O Barco. Our experience began during the day—I was looking for a restaraunt with a Portuguese menu and fresh seafood. After reviewing many menus (many tourist-type menus) we decided to spend our last meal in Carvoeiro at this establishment and we were not disappointed. Our starters included fresh oysters, clams, mussels and grilled sardines. Our mains were sea bass and bream, accompanied with a local rose, followed by a local red wine. We all shared the orange almond cake and chocolate with caramel cake and tawny port. The entire meal was very simple and delicious! The staff there was very kind and helpful. Thank you O Barco for making our last evening here a wonderful experience!

17/10/2024: Absolument Délicieux. Vue mer, personnel très gentil et attentionné, poisson frais délicieux et cuit comme il faut. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Je conseille fortement Nous y sommes allés 2 fois durant nos 6 jours de vacances

13/11/2024: We had lunch at Canhão II in a beautiful sunny afternoon. Great location over "praia da California". Very nice terrace and very friendly service. Food, unfortunately, is very very average. We had 2 of the day specials (octopus rice and fried squid) and both were neither good nor bad, other than a fair price of 15€ each. Lunch costed about 40€, which was "fair".

20/08/2024: Nous y allons au moins une fois par an, en plein mois d’août et nous ne sommes jamais déçu. L’emplacement est au top, sur le front de mer. Le service est impeccable, les serveurs disponibles et agréables. Quant aux plats, nous prenons souvent des plats de poissons ou fruits de mer pour deux et nous avons toujours apprécié. Seul petit inconvénient : la salle peut être bruyante lorsqu’il y a du monde.
