22/02/2026: Estivemos ontem neste restaurante com o grupo de veteranos do Vitória de Setúbal e adorámos. O atendimento foi impecável, o senhor Chico esteve sempre atento aos pedidos e era muito divertido. Em relação à comida, as doses são generosas e saborosas. A especialidade é comida na brasa, principalmente o peixe. Pedimos douradas e sem duvida que eram fresquinhas. Os nossos amigos pediram o típico choco frito e disseram que estava muito bom. Ontem havia musica ao vivo e karaoke o que animou ainda mais o jantar. Aconselhamos este restaurante e voltaremos com toda a certeza

03/06/2025: Ponto Final If you follow Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil,” their first episode was set in Portugal and featured a restaurant at the end of the world, aptly named Ponto Final. Trust me, it’s easier to find your way around New York or Manila than this place. After a ferry ride from Lisbon to Casilhas across the Tagus River, a bus ride where Google made us stop sooner (we should have listened to the old lady who told us to get off later), and navigating through graffiti-infested small alleys, we finally arrived at the edge of a cliff wall, deciding to what seemed like a torn-down cannery. It definitely felt like a scene from The Twilight Zone. Descending nearly 80 steps, we finally saw those familiar yellow metal tables and chairs. Whew! We made it. But wait, we had to wait an hour since we couldn’t get reservations. Finally, we got to sit down. This better be good, Phil, or I’ll stop watching Netflix. My sister recommended this place to us as well. Our grilled sardines and fried horse mackerel were cooked to perfection, but the side of tomato rice was the real surprise. Everything was done just right, and who needs ambiance when you can hear the waves crashing about 10 feet from your table and enjoy the breathtaking view of Lisbon? If you’re lucky, you’ll get that table at the end where you can just fall into the ocean if you had one too many glasses of wine. Getting back to the ferry was another adventure. Thankfully, the elevator was working (yesterday it wasn’t), and just imagine climbing that cliff wall while full of food. Other than getting there and back, I would highly recommend Ponto Final for all the right (and even wrong) reasons. It will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark in our memories.

03/06/2025: Review for Ponto Final – The TikTok Viral Restaurant An unfortunate and frustrating experience from start to finish. We arrived at 7:40 PM and weren’t seated until 9 PM—nearly 2.5 hours later. Since they don’t take reservations after 7 PM, it’s first come, first served. What they don’t mention is that you’ll need to wait about an hour just to get your name on the list… and then queue again to grab drinks while you wait to be seated. That line took another hour, and we were left standing outside in freezing winds, sharing bread and olives on a stone ledge by the water as the sun set and the cold set in. After all that waiting, our name was skipped entirely on the waitlist. We watched multiple groups who arrived well after us get seated ahead. When I pointed this out to the gray-haired host (whom everyone seems to rave about), he gave a half-hearted apology and finally seated us—almost three hours after we arrived. Because we had been out in the cold for so long, we asked to be seated inside. Once inside, we sat for 20 minutes without any acknowledgment. No waiter approached us for drink orders, nothing. It was our last night in Portugal, and we felt invisible. When we finally placed our order, I opened the menu only to find it covered in black mold. I lost my appetite. I flagged it to our waiter, who didn’t seem to care. Meanwhile, every table around us was getting great service and attention. We felt completely disregarded. We were seated at 9 PM. Our food didn’t arrive until 10:40 PM—20 minutes before closing. Even then, it came in parts. My partners veal arrived much earlier than expected, and my grilled sardines were delayed another 15–20 minutes after that. I had to flag down a different server—not even ours—to check on our food. Our assigned waiter never once came to check in. As a waitress from New York, I understand the chaos of busy nights—but this was unacceptable. We rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was so disappointing it felt like a joke. We paid the same as everyone else, yet were treated as if we didn’t matter. When we brought our concerns to the host at the end of the night, he brushed it off with, “Well, we have good reviews.” That’s not the point. You took our time and money, and our experience didn’t reflect your supposed standards. The arrogance was disheartening. They comped dessert but still charged for water—what a joke. He blamed how busy the restaurant was, but every other table was properly taken care of. It almost felt personal. The food was good, but the treatment was honestly heartbreaking. Sadly, we won’t be coming back.

17/02/2026: Experimentamos os sanduíches para viagem. Não eram dos melhores: faltava molho e a carne estava um pouco sem graça. No entanto, o atendimento foi muito simpático e super rápido 👍 €4 por um sanduíche pequeno não é excepcional, mas é um bom negócio.

23/02/2026: Sábado à noite, poucas pessoas jantando. Pedimos pão com azeitonas, que nunca chegaram, e frango grelhado e robalo grelhado. Ambos demoraram muito para chegar e, quando chegaram, estavam pretos, como se tivessem sido grelhados em brasas que não estavam suficientemente quentes. Moro em Portugal e já comi muitos frangos assados. Nenhum tão seco quanto este. Muito decepcionante.

01/02/2026: O melhor restaurante do sul de Portugal, sem dúvida. Magnífico, adoro mesmo. Não hesitem em passar por lá. À beira do rio Guadiano, simplesmente lindo. O primeiro albanês a visitar este sul de Portugal.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

24/02/2026: O espaço é lindíssimo, com uma vista maravilhosa e um bom ambiente. A carta é relativamente vasta com opções para todos os gostos. Tendo chegado perto do meio dia, acabei por não ter de esperar muito tempo. A comida estava muito boa - pizza, canelonis e banoffee. As pessoas também muito simpáticas e solicitas. O preço é elevado, percebo pela localização e qualidade mas ainda assim, acho que é um pouco acima do que se entrega. Ainda assim, recomendo e voltarei!

22/02/2026: Pior serviço da Fonte da Telha. Já fomos duas vezes após um pedal e os funcionários não são nem um pouco solícitos em nos ajudar com a indicação de um local para estacionarmos as bicicletas. Mas duas vezes mudamos o nosso local de escolha.

01/11/2025: Que lugar incrível! Jantar à beira-mar ao pôr do sol foi uma experiência maravilhosa! Meu pai adorou a enorme grelha onde preparam o peixe! Definitivamente, uma parada obrigatória para uma experiência inesquecível. Não dei 5 estrelas porque achei que poderiam melhorar a qualidade dos acompanhamentos do peixe, assim como coisas simples como o azeite na mesa. Também há uma reclamação sobre o preço, mas você sabe... Você paga por um lugar privilegiado, então não há nada a acrescentar!
