09/10/2024: Mooie en aangename plaats om te zitten, maar het eten was slechts van gemiddelde kwaliteit en bereiding voor Portugal en véél te duur voor wat het was. De volgende dag hebben we veel lekkerdere visgerechten gegeten voor slechts de helft van de prijs in een visrestaurant waar het ook leuk was om te zitten en waar eveneens toeristen kwamen.

09/10/2024: This was a fabulous lunch experience! You choose your fish and pay by the kg. They bring you the fish to get your approval before they filet and grill it. We were very appreciative that the manager asked if we needed some help when the fish was presented… as we would not have had a clue as to how to separate it from the bone and discard the excess… The fish was the most delicious I’ve ever had! We chose the Red Snapper!

22/10/2024: The fish was fantastic. Choose a big fish to share and you won’t be disappointed. The service was great, and our dessert was superb

20/10/2024: Wir waren etwas früh um 17.45h und wollten erst einen Apéro und dann lecker essen. Der Chef war etwas rumplig, da er wohl in seiner kurzen Pause gestört wurde. Doch als wir dann trotzdem ganz tolle Sachen bestellt haben, war die Freundlichkeit wieder gefunden. 😉 Das Essen war toll, frisch zubereitet und grosse Portionen. Auch der Hauswein war ausgezeichnet. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

25/09/2024: On quitte le front de mer pour rejoindre la large terrasse bordée du grill où vont cuire la plupart des plats car ici, poissons, calamars et sèches sont rois. Tout le reste est accessoire, un service directif, des tables un peu trop serrées, on ne passera pas ici un dîner romantique en savourant la finesse d’une sauce ou d’un accompagnement choisi. C’est une ambiance cantine de bord de mer qui peut convenir.

26/08/2024: Comida fantástica, bem confeccionada peixe e marisco sempre muito fresco. Boa esplanada. Simpatia do staff. A voltar com certeza.

06/10/2024: É só maravilhoso! A comida é super deliciosa, as instalações muito boas e a simpatia do staff e do Sr. Abílio é a cereja no topo do bolo. Que excelente opção para um bom almoço!

13/10/2024: We had our wedding at this perfect venue on 28.09.24. We couldn’t have done it without the help of the amazing wedding co ordinator- Kirsten. So knowledgable of local vendors, supportive of every idea, our go to throughout the whole process. We had the bbq buffet our wedding guests are still saying now ‘the best wedding food’ they’ve ever had. The bar /restaurant staff are second to none, amazing service with a smile. Thank you Lighthouse grill & bar.

11/10/2024: Had a few drinks at the bar. Great service! Good location, nice terrace with a amazing view! Highly recommend, would love to come back!

11/10/2024: As Velhas had 2 very friendly waiters but they couldn't cope with all the customers. One of our party was served a drink and the rest of us waited at least another 10mins without any thing. The food was well cooked but a little brief...2 potatoes and no other vegetable. One of the meals was very over salted but neither of the waiters came back to check if the food was alright. I saw othe customers trying to attract their attention but they were too rushed to look after any customer properly .

09/10/2024: Went to As Velhas for dinner last night. In late September the concierge at our hotel told us he had made a reservation for us for 6 people at 8 pm. We arrived and were told that they had no record of the reservation. After some resistance they figured out a way to accommodate us. Once seated it took a bit for them to get to us to take our order for food and wine but once they did things flowed very smoothly. The food came out piping hot and was delicious! The restaurant was run by two men who seemed to be doing everything except the cooking. They were literally running through the restaurant serving people, clearing tables…Yet they somehow seemed to be giving everyone personal service, were very warm and friendly and apologetic for any confusion about the reservation. We would definitely go back!

10/09/2024: Great food and hospitality! The little walk from Aveiro centre to the boat is definitely worth it. We really felt welcomed and enjoyed the warm atmosphere. Referring to another rating comment: We have been also offered a starter which was not on the menue but it was clearly explained that it is an offer and not (!) a starter for free.

29/09/2024: I recently had the good fortune to be in Aveiro for work and my colleagues and I were brought to this restaurant, Cais do Pescado, for a set menu, for which the choice was either cod or octopus. This limited choice was simply due to the size of our group (we were 12 people) and the convenience of our hosts. Our one vegetarian and our one non-gluten / non-dairy diners were equally well catered for. Despite the seemingly restricted choice, this meal was the absolute best meal of our whole week in Portugal. I don’t think I have ever had such delicious octopus before — cooked simply and with plain accompaniments, it was outstanding. I would happily have the same again. Apparently the cod was equally superb. The selection of tasty starters and wines were also delicious.

06/10/2024: We have tried many fish restaurants in Costa da Caparica , but this is the best one. Fresh fish ( sea bass) , delicious salad and boiled potatos. Simple and very good. We had two dinner there during our stay in Costa da Caparica. We're coming back next year😊

25/09/2024: Impresionante este lugar, que calidad la de sus pescados, 38€ por unas gambas grandes al ajillo, una dorada y una lubina con su guarnición y 2 vinos, de verdad que menos no se puede pagar por unos pescados tan ricos, espero volver antes de acabar mis vacaciones, muy recomendable

06/10/2024: Já 3 anos que conheci este restaurante e é sempre um prazer enorme voltar todos os anos. Donos e empregados sempre super simpáticos. Folhado dom Rafael para sobremesa fantástico.

20/09/2024: Durante la vacanza a Portimão abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante, piatti ottimi. Abbiamo ordinato il polpo alla griglia e il tonno, entrambe le portate erano accompagnate da verdure e la quantità era abbondante. La location non era il massimo perché dà sulla strada ma il ristorante in sè era carino. Consigliato 👍🏻

20/03/2024: Desde o atendimento super familiar até à comida caseira com todo o sabor madeirense, é certamente um restaurante para comer bem e estar descontraído a beber uma Poncha. Aconselho vivamente o bolo do caco de tomate!! Voltaremos!

04/11/2024: We went here last night and what a great choice it was. The restaurant had a que at the door looking for a table the very friendly waitress advised that there would be a little delay due to how busy they were we advised that that would not be a problem and we were happy to wait, we were taken to a little wine bar down the street where we had a lovely glass of wine and chat with the the waiter of the bar and in no time the table was ready. I opted for the vegetable soup to start whilst my wife opted for the stake bites. Both meals were good hearty portions and very tasty. Main meal I opted for a traditional Lisbon sandwich dish that comprised of cheese ham steak sat in a creamy tomato sauce with fries. This was different from anything I've ordered before in a restraunt before, and I throughout enjoyed the meal ..it was quite a large meal in portion size, so I certainly didn't leave here hungry. My wife had the tuna steak, as did our friends, They all agreed it was delicious,and again, there was no scrimping on quantity or quantity. I had the house red as a wine accompaniment with the meal, and it was of good quality and at a very reasonable price. Throughout the meal, our waiter was both efficient and funny and very attentive. My wife had the chocolate cake with ice cream for dessert. I had ice cream both very nice. The bill was very reasonable and we all agreed that the staff were amazing as was the food. A wonderful traditional restaurant at the heart of the city is a perfect introduction to Lisbon cuisine.

30/03/2024: Uma Tasca proporcionou a mim e a minha esposa uma experiência deliciosa de almoço. Ficamos cativados pelas deslumbrantes vistas do oceano e pelo interior aconchegante que contribuiu para a atmosfera encantadora. O serviço foi excepcional, com funcionários simpáticos e eficientes que foram extremamente prestativos. O peixe fresco e os pratos deliciosos foram particularmente agradáveis. Eu recomendo este restaurante.

25/09/2024: Excelente, preço acessível, serviço atencioso. Único ponto menos positivo foi saber que a maioria dos funcionários são adeptos do SCP! Recomendo vivamente!

16/08/2024: Excellent!!! A hidden gem. Wonderful staff, perfect fish and a beautifully light sangria. Be sure to reserve (from 1pm on the day) as tables are quickly taken. A must for very good authentic Portuguese seafood.

12/07/2024: Infelizmente correu mal. Pedimos sardinhas para 3 pessoas, perguntei se a salada vinha com pimentos, foi dito que sim. Quando as sardinhas vieram para a mesa notámos logo que não tinham aspeto de frescas e pimentos ausentes. Ao iniciar a refeição notámos que estavam secas e quase de certeza que eram congeladas pois não tinham qualquer frescura, com um sabor que não era fresco. A salada não trazia pimentos, como pedido. Durante a refeição confrontámos o colaborador, muito simpático, é um facto, que apenas nos pediu descupa e no final tivémos de pagar 71 euros pelo todo, não foram só as sardinhas e não coloco em causa o valor mas sim a qualidade . Foi uma desilusão esta refeição de sardinhas. Sei que pode acontecer mas nada foi feito para tentar satisfazer os clientes. Acredito na qualidade de outros pratos mas este não será de repetir, certamente.

03/07/2024: Muito agradável. À beira mar, com o pôr do sol espetacular... Os pratos escolhidos foram muito bons, principalmente o bitoque de polvo, uma maravilha, aconselho a experimentar.... O atendimento e simpatia 5 estrelas.... Gostamos muito. Recomendo
