19/10/2024: Atenção quando pedirem arroz de marisco, arroz que ja estava feito, juntou se um molho que so sabia a polpa de tomate e caldo knorr, da sapateira so 2 patas traseiras e 4 camarões, com uma suposta lagosta.

17/10/2024: Friendly engaging Staff, pleasant decor & comfortable atmosphere located in the alley ways of Nazare. Very Reasonable prices for Nazare and good food. The fish soup was spot on as was the Pork & Clams!

29/09/2024: We were excited to try this location because we love fish. We had only just arrived in Faro and it was my wife's 40th birthday. The concierge told them it was her birthday and I emailed them also. They stuck us on a table in the middle of the deck despite us asking to be at the side. We ordered pasta for our 6 year old son, seafood linguine for my wife and I had a Sole. My son's pasta had zero sauce despite us asking for an Alfredo type cream sauce. It was plain penne with no sauce and sprinkled with a little Parmesan. We were give some melted butter to throw on it which helped a little but for €9.50 we expected more. My wife's pasta was flavorless in a small bowl. Again she was offered melted butter to liven it up a bit. My €43 small sole smelled like it had been lying around for days and although supposedly grilled in butter it was crispy and dry. The two sides were salted new potatoes which were like leather balls and one cut up length of broccolini. Each side was €6 so again we expected more. The service was mediocre and to make sure we didn't have a great experience they completely omitted to celebrate my wife's birthday. When I asked the manager about it he just said that nobody told him about it. So there's clearly a disconnect in the service. Lovely location but don’t waste your money.

24/09/2024: The food wasn’t exceptional, given the price. It could have been a lot better. The service was excellent however. The setting is beautiful but we opted to sit inside due to the evenings becoming a little chilly when the sun goes down. A nice relaxing experience.

01/10/2024: Das Essen war in Ordnung, die Bedienung aber katastrophal. Wir hatten einen jungen Kellner, der uns keinen Blick schenkte, sondern immer irgendwo ander hinschaute, kein Lächeln, Demotivation total. Als wir dann bezahlen wollten zeigte sich während 10 Minunten kein einziger Kellner auf der Terrasse. Als dann einer kam, begab er sich an den ersten Tisch beim Ausgang und schaute mit keinem einzigen Blick in die Runde, wo noch 14 andere Leute auf Bedienung warteten. Auch am Ende der Saison erwarte ich, noch anständig bedient zu werden.

22/09/2024: Ambiente cordiale e informale, personale simpatico e disponibile. Pesce freschissimo e vario con menù del giorno molto ampio. Anche i dolci tanti e vari! Assolutamente consigliato.

03/04/2024: Vou para marisco e para carne. Têm o melhor tártaro, prego no prato e açorda de marisco da cidade.

21/10/2024: Das beste und schönste Restaurant. mit dem besten Fisch den ich seit langem gegessen habe. Die Mitarbeiter sind super nett und aufmerksam. Einen traumhaften Ausblick inklusive. Ich komme gerne wieder.

12/09/2024: Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant auf dieser Reise. Super lecker, top Service und man hat eine wundervolle Sicht auf die Bucht. Kann man kaum besser machen. Jederzeit wieder!

18/09/2024: Chicken was to die for!! So juicy! Their veal liver and creamy spinach puree was excellent as well. Came here today and I'm going to come here again tomorrow! Can't wait.

31/08/2024: Buzzy traditional restaurant. Great food. Served with a smile. There is a queue outside at busy times, but you shouldn’t have to wait long.

12/10/2024: Wonderful for seafood. Feels like a family style restaurant from the 80s. If you like old school seafood restaurants this place is for you.

25/09/2024: An absolutely superb fresh fish seafood restaurant which also caters to meat lovers and vegetarians. It is a must visit when on Albuferia audit was just a few minutes walk form put apartment superb.an the early bird menu is amazing value for money.

18/10/2024: We have been visiting Sagres for over 15 years. For most of that time, when it was owned/managed by 2 Dutch females, this was the best restaurant in town. Post Covid, and the retirement of the Dutch owners, the quality and atmosphere diminished significantly. However, this year (September 2024) the quality and atmosphere had improved. While still not back to the pre-Covid levels, it is almost there. Having said all of the above, you can be guaranteed an excellent meal.

17/10/2024: We dined here with family, and while the service was friendly, we were surprised by the bill. My wife and I ordered “Today’s Fish,” which was recommended by the waiter and not listed on the menu. While the fish was good, we weren’t informed of the price, and it turned out to be one of the most expensive items. Other family members had salted cod, which was decent but had too little fish compared to the sides. It would be fairer to either inform customers of the price upfront or price the dish closer to the average of other menu items. More transparency would have improved our experience.

30/03/2024: A porção, o atendimento rápido, a educação e, acima de tudo, cada mordida estava deliciosa. Voltarei mais uma vez (o que raramente faço quando estou de férias, porque normalmente gosto de experimentar lugares diferentes - mas este lugar?)

26/03/2024: Espetada ficou um pouco àquem do esperado em termos de sabor, bolo do caco feito com pão de água não fica tão saboroso. Milho frito e lapas muito boas, atendimento e atmosfera muito agradáveis, no entanto alguma demora do serviço

04/10/2024: Gestern Abend waren wir im Principa Essen. Angefangen beim erstklassigen Azoren-Weißwein über sehr gute Vorspeisen landete ich beim ausgezeichnet zubereiteten Pulpo, ein Genuß für die Sinne. Der Chef bedient selbst und ist sehr aufmerksam was das Umsetzen von Gästewünschen angeht. Preise sind der Leistung absolut angemessen. Wir sind nun schon länger auf den Inseln und haben gute und weniger gute Restaurants kennengelernt. Das Principa gehört fraglos in die oberste Liga, eine Empfehlung wert.

01/10/2024: Great food and well prepared. Presentation on the plates was wonderful. First come first serve makes it worthwhile to be on time at the opening of the restaurant. Little pricy for the Azores

03/10/2024: Heerlijk restaurant met geweldige koks. Met zeer goed kwaliteit vlees. En bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. 1 week op vakantie geweest en 2x hier wezen eten omdat het zo goed beviel.

21/09/2024: Vir ao Refúgio do Vincente sempre que venho para o Algarve é obrigatório. A comida é sempre incrível, os funcionários impecáveis e qualidade/preço sem anda a apontar. Já considerado casa.

14/09/2024: Booked a table for my sea food, loving other half. He was in his element with prawns and crab, and I was very happy with my sea bass. This was a very successful meal.

25/08/2024: Nos lo recomendaron y nos defraudó. Pedimos bogavante a la plancha y lo trajeron cocido, las gambas estaban pasadas y el entorno es cutre. Demasiado caro para la calidad que ofrecen.

16/07/2024: Comemos sapateira, que estava óptima e fresca! O empregado foi de uma imensa simpatia e o espaço está bastante limpo. Foi durante a semana a nossa ida. Mas voltaremos seguramente em breve!

27/09/2024: We visited for lunch with no expectations beyond what we had seen on the menu, which was fairly standard fare. In the event we ordered a selection of small plates, which were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. Would definitely return.

25/09/2024: Hyper déçu, Malgré une superbe vue les plats du début à la fin était plus que quelquonque à la limite du mangeable. La sangria 3/4 eau sirop de fruit un petit peu de vin donc mauvaise. Les croquettes de canard sans canard, l'efilloché de morue sans goût, Le riz morue et palourde n'était autre que le jus de cuisson du riz avec des morceaux de morue et quelques palourdes jetée dedans avec une tonne de sel pour rehausser le goût. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant, ne vous laissez pas avoir par le cadre.
