13/09/2024: Went to watch football and eat at the same time. Sat inside and plenty tv acreens Barmaid very friendly and chatty. Homemade food that was good.we all enjoyed what we had. Good music playing outside as well. Went a few other times for drinks only.

12/07/2024: We were staying at Villa Gale and wanted to watch the Euros. Great atmosphere in this pub, really clean and plenty of seating inside and out without losing that true pub feel, with numerous screens to ensure everyone could see the game.Locals and holiday makers both taking full advantage of the pub. Drinks and Bar snacks reasonably priced, service always quick even with all the footie fans. Highly recommend any holidaymakers of all nationalities.

23/05/2024: Un resto à ne pas manquer si vous passez dans le coin ! Les maquereaux sont délicieux. Le menu à 12 euro est à prendre. Le serveur parle anglais et est très sympa. La terrasse est à côté des vignes, Quinta do Frances que nous avons visité juste avant. Une bien belle surprise !

25/03/2024: Ótimo para fazer uma pausa. Visitamos este lugar para fazer uma pausa no nosso passeio de bicicleta. Foi ótimo, a vista para o mar e o calçadão são lindos. A comida estava boa. O desempenho do preço definitivamente se encaixa aqui!! O serviço também foi bom, a única desvantagem: não havia serviço de mesa, então você tinha que pedir na frente. Há, portanto, um certo engarrafamento aqui. Mas a comida foi trazida para a mesa, então o conceito não era tão ruim Nós gostamos!

22/09/2024: Heerlijk rustig op het terras in het zonnetje een heerlijk bakkie Cappuccino genuttigd. (19-09-2024 10:51) Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Dame in de bediening spreekt goed Engels en heeft veel goede humor. Wij hebben daar genoten...

09/09/2024: Zeer mooi gelegen restaurant met een leuk terras vlakbij het kasteel. Vlotte bediening, lekkere gerechten. Ondanks sommige mindere beoordelingen vonden we dit zeer ok.

21/10/2024: Tourist trap! When we asked for a table for three, the staff behaviour was like they did us a favor to dress a table for us. It took 30 minutes for the staff to take our order and another 1 hour to get our dishes served, including the kid meal... The staff was even sighing when we asked about our dishes after 1h waiting. The food was overcooked frozen food without any taste. This is not a restaurant, just a scam for tourists.

08/10/2024: Ik kom regelmatig bij dit restaurant, allereerst vanwege het lekkere eten, maar ook om de fijne gezellige plek in het centrum van Silves waar de vriendelijke bediening zorgt voor een welkom gevoel. De tapas, kip met honing - mosterd saus, biefstuk, burgers, vis met garnalensaus, alles wat ik tot nu toe heb gegeten was met zorg klaargemaakt en heerlijk! En niet te vergeten de lekkere nagerechten zoals de cheescake en het toetje van sinaasappels. Wat mij betreft een aanrader!

31/08/2024: Jantar com família e amigos ( 9 pessoas). Como é de costume torna-se uma tarefa quase impossível conseguir uma mesa em Armação pra jantar em Agosto, mas mesmo assim, “cumprimos” as exigências de estar antes da 19:30 no restaurante para “garantir” a mesa. Começamos mal quando a chegada à mesa, solicitamos a bebidas, e apenas foi possível fazer o pedido, quando a chegada de todos para jantar ( devemos ter apenas um número específico de idas a mesa). Assim que fizemos o pedido, a comida do “dia”: lulas a algaravia; mista de carnes; bacalhau à Brás, demorou mais de 1hora a chegar a mesa, quando tínhamos 4 crianças na mesa ( 8,5,3, 18meses). Até aqui estava tudo a decorrer dentro da normalidade, apenas mudou quando o meu filho de 18 meses ao brincar com a mesa do lado gritou 2 vezes seguidas. Fomos abordado por um funcionário “sênior” que tinha de calar a criança, pois estava a perturbar os outros clientes. Por acaso já tinha pedido a conta por saber que ao final de quase 2horas de permanência no restaurante, fica complicado estarem quietos. O empregado não se retratou do que disse, os clientes à volta ficaram indignados e foi solicitado o livro de reclamações, pois a entrada não reparamos que era proibido crianças , mas apenas entrarmos em “biquíni/ fato de banho” Relativamente a comida, nada que leve a voltar, muito mais o atendimento.

26/03/2024: Pizza realmente deliciosa para levar, recomendo este lugar. Morávamos em um AirBnB próximo e fizemos pedidos aqui mais de uma vez. É uma pizza italiana muito saborosa e autêntica, feita por caras muito simpáticos.

29/09/2024: The flatbread with eggplant and feta was full of flavor the sauted mushroom were tender and tasty. The sea bream was flaky with a light char on the skin side and nicely seasoned

23/09/2024: sorry but terrible experience ordered cocktail and gt which arrived after starter had been served starters were v average garlic flat bread cold aubergine starters one spoonfuls main course forced on us whilst we were eating our starters no one came to check us very bad service main course of lamb a ND chicken very bad nothing like targine chef came to see me after my bill of $160 he took off gt! be very careful

02/10/2024: Decent restaurant located only a couple of minutes walk from the wonderful town of Silves. When we went, it was quite busy, but we were able to get a table within a couple of minutes of waiting. What I loved was that you could see the food being cooked on the barbecue in front of your eyes, so you know you are getting fresh food. They operate on a set menu basis, in which you get a starter, main course and a drink and dessert for only €10. The starter consisted of bread and olives. The main courses that you could choose from were BBQ chicken, mix of grilled meat (homemade sausage and pork steak), a grilled fillet steak or grilled fish of the day (mackerel and sardines). dessert included small pieces of fresh seasonal fruits. Just to mention that all of the main courses include french fries and salad and rice. The set menu price rises to €11 for the grilled meat and steak. BBQ chicken and fish stay at €10. The food was quite good and you will not be hungry after the amount of food that you get. The BBQ chicken was very good and was falling off the bone. The mixed grill however was OK but not spectacular. The pork sausage was very nice, but the pork steak for me was inedible and it was quite salty as well. The rice and fries and even the salad were all very good though, and also the fact that starters and desserts were included made this quite a good spot for lunch. If I could on Tripadvisor, I would give this place 4.5 stars out of 5. I'm only knocking a star off here for the dish that I got. The next time, I will probably get the BBQ chicken or the fish. Other than that, I would still recommend for everyone to try this place. Quite cheap for a barbecue restaurant. A must visit if you are in the area.

02/10/2024: What a great place to have the most refreshing glass of lemonade and gorgeous salad (coriander foam is such a wonderful surprise addition). Highly recommend having your lunch here in the grounds of Silves Castle.

24/09/2024: Delicious fresh sushi , noodles etc served by a lady with a very cool attitude who helped me find veggie options for me, and something for my meat loving hubby too. Situated in a shady street with nice views of a tree lined avenue.
