08/10/2024: Gran lugar para un restaurante, pero la comida es asquerosa. El personal de camareros es muy pobre y la comida no es comestible. El calamar bebé era muy malo y el pez monje era muy soso. Lo más destacado de la comida fue el pan, queso y aceitunas. Fui a McDonalds después y fue 5 estrellas en comparación con esto. Evita si puedes.

05/10/2024: Wir suchen meist nach Top-Bewertungen, dieses Restaurant hat uns sehr positiv überrascht: toller Service und leckeres, authentisches Essen haben es uns angetan. Die Portionen war reichlich und die Location wunderschön.

02/11/2024: Do yourself a favour and find another place. Unless you are British you will not enjoy the food . Went there and they even made a big deal about making eggs as they were “not on the menu”. Fries were made with the same oil they made the fish so, of course, they were fishy fries . We couldn’t eat as even the tea had a bit of a curry flavour. I would rather starve than going again.

11/10/2024: This is by far the best piri piri chicken I’ve ever had The decor is fantastic the music is fantastic and the wait staff was fantastic It’s a little off the beaten path but well worth the small hike up the hill in old town Had the shrimp cocktail for a starter and strawberry and ice cream for dessert

02/11/2024: Det som talar för att gå dit är restaurangen läge i övrigt finns det ingen anledning att göra ett besök. Matupplevelsen och servicen är skrämmande dålig.

30/09/2024: I visited for lunch as my family was still enjoying the beach. I was greeted by a friendly older male waiter and he sat me down close to the open container of their catch of the day. I asked if I could move as I had to much sun and he placed me at a table near the fan. Immediately the only young female waitress her name (Mar…..la) came up to me and said - can you please sit near the original table. I told her that this was better for me as I was really hot . She scowled and walked away. She engaged a young male waiter in conversation about me - making it really obvious. She was short and to the point and refused to provide me with the same courtesy she showed other patrons next to me. She poured everyone’s water around me and would not do the same for me. She only scowled and continued to ignore me throughout my meal. She had a colleague bring my food and never once came over and asked me how things were. At some point , my daughters had to come up from the beach to pay the bill as she left me on my own and I had a pounding headache. I can appreciate a busy restaurant, I do not require my hand to be held however my experience with her was very uncomfortable as her behaviour to everyone around me was so different. I had the salmon , it was very good.

12/10/2024: Med vänner hade vi en härlig kväll på denna underbara restaurang. Bra stämning, grymt bra service och maten vi åt va super. Ett riktigt bra minne. Tack Ken med personal.

During our recent trip to Europe, we visited Algarve and discovered the restaurant Arribale, where we met Nanis, a dedicated and passionate staff member who truly inspired us. Despite her professional background and advanced studies in France, Nanis brings warmth and love to her work, making our experience unforgettable. She reminded us that there are still people dedicated to their work who can do it with love and passion, just like she does. We are grateful to Nanis, the crew, and Captain Ken for a magical night. The authentic grilled dishes, the fantastic atmosphere, the breathtaking views, and the inspiring, unmatched service made the evening truly special.
