22/09/2024: Os melhores gelados soft do país são na taquelim Gonçalves. Vou só por isso, não conseguindo avaliar o restante. O tempo de espera as vezes é elevado, o que penso que diminuiria com mais uma funcionária.

18/09/2024: Bonnes glaces - Très bien situé, proche de la marina, dispose d’une terrasse, large choix de parfum, les glaces sont bonnes.

03/10/2024: Vegetarian options are very limited if you don’t eat fish. My fish was over cooked and my friends non vegetarian food was pretty average.

01/09/2024: Preços superfaturados, a pizza não tem uma base real - mais como massa para embrulhar. O recibo estava bem gostoso até agora, mas muito pouco e caro.

26/04/2024: We had a meal last night at the bar/snack area, food was delicious as always, and very reasonably priced. All staff are polite and friendly x we absolutely love to come back here every year.

21/02/2024: Restaurante português muito simpático e muito amigo dos chineses. O preço é moderado, a mesa de jantar é espaçosa e a localização é um pouco afastada de uma pequena zona rural de Lagos, mas o sabor é muito autêntico, e o peixe grelhado e o churrasco são todos grelhados no carvão! Vale a pena visitar, você não ficará desapontado

10/10/2023: Nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a little poor- would like more to choose from. Nice sourroundings and pool. Good cleaning service. The room was Nice but I little too hard bed for me.

02/10/2023: The hotel is very clean and has plenty of parking for those like us who travel by car. The beds are comfortable and staff is very friendly and helpful. The only minus was the quality of the breakfast.

11/10/2024: Put sitting with my back to the fish fridge when we asked to be moved it seemed to be a problem. However we were moved we also heard the maitre’d ask another couple if they were English or Portuguese when they asked for a table, they eventually got a table. We could not imagine us as Irish asking a customer what country they were from before we gave them a table. Thank god this attitude was totally against all we experienced in Portugal, we found everybody extremely helpful and friendly..

07/10/2024: This place was great! We came here for our anniversary dinner and did not disappoint at all - the staff were extremely lovely and very funny too, which made it a very entertaining night. The view is incredible, as was the food - we had the swordfish and the beef fillet sandwich, both of which were very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

28/03/2024: Tropecei neste lugar e tão feliz que fizemos! Este lugar, embora conhecido pelos seus kebabs, tem as melhores pizzas! Melhor preço pelo valor da comida, definitivamente voltarei.

26/03/2024: Evite esse lugar, muitos turistas. Todo o menu especificava frango, então perguntei se havia carne bovina disponível e disse que sim. Pedi carne dura, doner de carne, 1 batata frita e 2 coques. Bill veio e tinha 20 anos. Os kebabs mais caros que comi em toda a Europa Quando perguntei por que esse preço foi informado de carne extra (mas não no momento do pedido), a carne estava congelada e não do tipo raspado. A comida era boa, cobriu o doador com alho sem perguntar.

20/09/2024: This is a prime spot and with some love, cleaning materials & money, this could be a GREAT place. Unfortunately, it's all a bit grubby, old mans pub feeling. This might be the vibe they are going for of course, inside the pub is DEFINITELY leaning towards grubby old, dark pub! It's pretty rowdy & loud when football is on, full of drunk blokes shouting outside. The terrace at the side looks out over the sea and there are seats on the street - a mish mash of plastic chairs and tables. Beer is OK, I wouldn't trust the food, so I can't comment on that. There are some lovely pots of flowers and herbs outside in the seated area - and I watched a bit horrified as EVERY dog that came past had a whizz up the herbs. Hope there is nothing on the menu requiring "thyme" because you will be getting some free dog whizz on that.

09/06/2024: Attentive staff and good service but wouldn’t eat here after seeing kitchen. Drinks on the patio is very relaxing but no food.

20/08/2024: Sehr leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen zu einem fairen Preis. (Angebot: Suppe des Tages + Hauptspeise + Dessert + Kaffeespezialität für knapp 20€) Der Inhaber ist trotz seines Alters sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend - bringt einfach bei eurem Restaurantbesuch von Anfang an ein wenig mehr Zeit und Verständnis mit und ich garantiere euch einen gelungenen Abend. Mein persönliches Highlight des Abends war der Hot Stone, mit denen man das Fleisch anbrät, sowie die Mousse au Chocolate. 🦜

14/07/2024: Nous avons passé une excellente soirée autour de crevettes et d'une pierrade. La viande est excellente. Le patron est aux petits soins pour ses clients. Le vin rouge proposé, Castelo de Arraiolos, est exceptionnel pour un millésime 2022.

06/11/2023: O nome não combina com o estabelecimento. Está localizado em um hotel de alto padrão. Não é exatamente o pub inglês casual que pensávamos que era.
